my son has colic and is the same age the best thing that worked for him was the dr. brown's bottles and enfamil nutrimegin formula the formula is pricey but it works like it says within 24 hours my son actually plays before he would scream and scream and we couldnt console him

my little girl has colic (started everynight at 7 sharp) and i tried everything under the sun until one night i just put her in her swing and put in a disney movie for her & let her be. whenever she gets fussy thats what i do and it always calms her down and eases her to sleep.

My 2 month old son also has colic, he loves to be bounced on my knee and stand. Colic is just a very fussy baby, there isnt anything drs have found to relieve colic, that is what our pediatrician said at our appt today.

I'm new to this, so I am not exactly sure what colic is. I have been told that it is when the baby coughs alot. Is that true? The advice I have been given to avoid that is to use the Dr. Brown's bottles bc they prevent colic. Now if colic is truly the baby having a continuous cough, then those bottles definitely work! My son is 2 months old and hasn't coughed yet.... well outside of being greedy and trying to drink is bottle fast! LOL

I have had 2 colicy babies. The 1st settled when rocking her to a lulluby cd and the 2nd is the blow dryer. Turn on the blow dryer and she settles and falls asleep. Both also were colicy bc of over stimulation so covering their face with a blanket while rocking them in the dark always seems to work. Stick in there it doesn't last forever!

Do you have the Happiest Baby on the Block book?? It has proven to be a sanity saver for my family. I didn't find out about it until my second child and it changed our lives!!

Gripe water???? if they have gas or an upset tummy or even colic gripe water is supposed to help ...by 2 months your baby should be able to have 5mls...theres no medical ingredients so not to worry if youve given too much

Hi Mel, I have heard that if a baby is colic try taking them to a chiropractic Dr. My aunt had a baby that was colic and she took her, somthing to do with the back being out of place. It worked for her, I am not saying that it works for everyone. but there is no harm in trying. Good luck!

dependingt on how old your daughter is to what you can give her best to ask health visitor or doctor they are very helpful. cool boiled water is the best option though

First take her to the dr to make sure it is. I waited and waited and then the dr said he has acid reflux.

Things that help is warm baths, carrides, bathroom fan and vacuum. Also rub her tummy clockwise.
