I give my baby girl a bath every other day. i sponge bathe her on the days that she does not get a full bath. she has really dry skin, and baby lotion just does not cut it so in order to cut down some of the irritation i only bath her every other day.

Until he starts crawling and into everything i bath him every other day. Inbetween just top and tail with a wipe. I started using bath lotion when he was 3ths as i didnt think it was good for his skin as even baby specific lotions have chemicals added to them so would advise moms to go easy on them.

I have a set of 4.5 month old twins. One twin has a foot condition and has her leg in plaster so she can't have a bath, but she gets a top to toe wash every night. Her sister gets a bath almost every night. It's only if I've had a big day on and can't be bothered to bath her before bed time that she doesn't get one. And when she doesn't get a bath she gets confused and takes ages to go to sleep, as she knows the routine is bath then bed. But whether she has a bath or not they both sleep 12 hours at night, it doesn't make a difference to their sleeping just the settling.

I have a 4 month old and he is bathed every 2-3 days.If he ends up needing a bath on the other days then I will bath him then wait another 2 days till his next one. There is just no need to bath an INFANT every single day.. Also, I live in Australia and there is a huge water shortage where I'm from so I just bring him in the shower with me- takes less than 5 mins for both of us :)

I have 3 month old twins and an 18 month old, so bathing everyday is just not possible. I don't have the time! We do every other day, but if my 18 month old has a big day outside, we'll give her a bath everyday. Both of my twins have reflux, but I just wipe their necks and change their clothes and bibs all of the time and it's fine.

I bath my son every few days. Every day dries out his skin, and isn't neccessary. Luckily, he sleeps about 8 hours at night, so he doesn't need a bath to help him sleep longer. For the milk smell, we just make sure to wipe under his neck and his hands after every feeding, and change his bib or clothes when needed.

i agree. your baby needs to be bathed everyday as if u would do yourself. they stink as well as we do. if you dnt they will reek of puke and pee. it also helps calm my son down and sleep longer.

She gets her bath by 10am and than eats , I lay her down for a nap afterwards. I like her to have a routine. If the wheather is rainy and cold , i just do a sponge bath. Now that winter is coming I will start washing her hair every other day. I just dont want her to get a cold. I started using lotion on her skin at 3 months old. I like Burts baby bee or California baby lotion is really mild on her skin. Method squeaky green is a good bath product also.

We try to bathe our baby every day, but wash her hair every other day. She loves to be in the bath, so it's not just to get clean, but to make her happy :)

I give my daugher a bath everyother night because her skin is really sensitive and dries out really fast. Her routine is bath, bottle, bedtime between 8 and 830.

I bathe my little girl every morning because she urinates so much at night she smells in the morning. As well she drools all night because of teething.

We bath our son every day. Like Tammy mentioned already its part of his routine - bath, breast, bed. He loves water and bath relax him and also give him some daddy time as they always have a bath together. We always use lotion or oil and I also shower his bum after pooe nappy instead of using wipes and he never had a rush!

We dont get much of sun here in Ireland and its more less damp all the time so i just always make sure the house is nice and warm for him.

I bathe my son every day, simply because of the fact they need to get used to. Only when the weather is a little damp like no sunshine, i would sponge him...Btw, is it a good idea to bathe them at bath time...will they not catch cold?

I give sponge baths every day. Just a quick wipe with a warm rag. A full wash once a week.

Not everyday... I don't think its good for his skin to have a bath everyday. We do like every other day or so. He's not doing anything that could warrant a bath EVERYDAY.
