How to get a breast fed baby to take formula?

I am wanting to give my breast fed baby a few oz of formula a day. She totally refuses it. I will then offer her juice in a bottle or breast feed her, so I know she is not to full. I have tried mixing formula with BM, she refuses that too. Any suggestions?

I would start with just a tablespoon of mixed formula to four oz of BM. My baby was on formula fortified BM for the first few months and it was just a small amount. Formula tastes awful compared to BM and to juice. Perhaps you should add the juice to straight formula if you are giving her juice anyhow. It may also help with potential constipation from the formula too (it has more iron that BM I think).
