My 7 month old son has 8 teeth. bottom 2 came through at 14 weeks, 3rd bottom at 22 weeks, 4 top teeth over new years (within 1 week of each other) and the 4th bottom tooth came through in Jan also. I think he is now getting his bottom molars as he has the white swelling showing which he has had with all his teeth when they have been coming through.

Every baby is different. There are older babies in my mothers group that are only just getting their first tooth. Also from what I have read and seen, babies start drooling and mouthing everything around the 3 month mark, it is part of their development, not necessarily because of teething.

My munchkin got her first one, well 2 in her fifth month, lots of drool but not much crankiness or fever. I have also hear of awful poo but we didn't notice much of a difference. She still chews on EVERYTHING but we don't see anymore just yet.

Babies also put things in their mouth for just exploring the world. I have been told that it is a milestone. My son has 4 teeth already and he is 6 1/2 months old.

My daughter got her first last weekend and this weekend gone i found her second one. She just turned 7 months on the 13th. Seemed like they were no where in sight and then there they were :) She enjoys chewing on the Alphabet letters you use for the bath....maybe try that. She was also sleeping terribly for the past 2 months, so think the teething was the problem, last night was the first night in a while she slept until it was time for us to get up for work. Good luck xoxox

my daughter is definately putting everything in her mouth! But...no teeth yet. We went to the dentist today with my three year old and I guess now they start checking babys at 6 months, and they said no teeth was just fine. My son did get his at 8 or 9 months. Just goes to show ya the rule all babies are different is true.

My DS is 7 months and in the last week and a half has got his two bottom teeth. He's been teething since he was about 3 months, drooling everywhere chewing on everything he can get his mouth on, etc. he also has his premolars(all top ones) through about 1 mm, they've been there for a while and dont seem to be moving out any further.

Every baby develops differently and in thier own time. They dont always follow the "normal" pattern of development. Some babies are born with a tooth or two while others like your son dont have any for quite a while. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with genes or anything else just the fact that they are different from every other little person and will consequently develop differently.

Logan was born July 11th.
He has seemed to be teething for MONTHS now. Tons of drooling all the time, everything in the mouth.
He just popped his first tooth through the gum earlier this week.

My 7 month old son has 4 teeth already, two uppers and two lowers. The lower ones came through just before he was 6 months and the uppers just before the 7 month mark.

My 6 month old has two teeth coming through! He started putting everything in his mouth and drooling like crazy around 4 months old, I thought for sure he was teething. His first tooth started coming through right before he turned 6 months.

I am a dental assistant and just to let you know that I have studied endlessly about cbildrens teeth...lol It seems that every child is different and in their own way, my daughter's two bottem teeth popped through right on the 4th month mark. She is now getting her top two teeth and that is perfectly fine. The "Average" infant should and most will recieve their 1st tooth around 6 months. This doesnt mean much....there are alot of babies to compare research with and I can tell you that 7-14 months isnt "late".

If so, my daughter is WAY early! I just comfort her and give her things to chew on. And most babies put everything in their mouth just to taste it...she is figuring out her senses as well. It may not look like much but there is a tooth waiting behind that skin to pop out. When her gingiva(gums) is ready, she will produce a tooth! Good Luck and I hoped this helped!

Every child is different. My son is just over 6 months and has 2 bottom teeth. Sounds like she is teething to me as everything is in the mouth. I was up every night for the past 3 weeks, some nights every hour but then the teeth came through. Relief!! The last few nights I knew he was in pain so I gave him baby motrin and it worked wonders. Good luck.

we asked our doctor at our son's 4 mnth. checkup if he could tell if any teeth were ready to come through. the doc said no and it would be quite a while but three days later aiden got his first tooth. i think its anybody's guess but if she's drooling like crazy i would say it'll be soon!

My son is 7 months now and he got his first tooth when he was 5 months exactly, the second one came a few weeks later. I think he's getting more though because he's acting the way he was with his first teeth - cranky, chewing everyyything, waking up a lot at night. So I think more are coming.

My son is an early teether. He started at a week after his 2 months appointment. His doctor couldn't believe me when I told her he was teething and yes a week later his first tooth cut through. At 6 months he already has 8 teeth out and showing big too. I had to stop breast feeding him at 3.5 months because he wanted to eat me alive.

My son got his first tooth on the 17th January, he was 6 months and a week old. He just got his second one through a week later. The gum where those 2 teeth now are began to raise up, and his gums were very hard, he has been teething since 3 months old, drooling everywhere and putting everything in his mouth, but about 3 weeks before the first tooth came, he became unbearably grumpy (still slept through the night even when the teeth broke through, thank goodness). It's adorable when he smiles big, as you can see the 2 little teeth at the bottom.... too cute. I think around 6-7 months is average for the first 2 teeth. Every baby is different though.

My son is about to pop two through. He was drooling for a while then started chewing on his hands. When I looked at his gums, his two bottom teeth were starting to come through.

No sign of teeth here! He's been putting everything in his mouth for ages though.

Just to add - that's a stunning photo of your little girl.
