I have been nursing my baby, she is 7 month now. I dont normally pump but I had to the other day and only got 2 oz total! Now I am so worried about my supply. She dont seem hungry during the day but she eats food 3 times a day now!

ah, dont let the pump be your guide as far as milk production goes, ever! i can only pump 2-3oz at a time and my babe is def not starving! your ok, if shes happy, shes fine. u just might have to schedule ur pumping for in the morning after a good sleep (thats when i do the best) or plan further in advance if u need to pump for something.

when u use the pump r u close to your baby? i had a lot of problems at the beginning, used a few different ones, but the medella swing the hospital lent me was the best, and i got most milk when i was sat next to my baby, but my supply just dissapeared altogether afer first 6 weeks or so :( but maybe trying a different breastpump might help you x

Some women find it more difficult to pump, even when their supply is good. Is your daughter growing well? Breastfeeding several times a day? Having plenty of wet nappies? Your supply is probably fine if so. It's also normal for our breasts to feel less 'full' around this age, the reason for this is that your supply is well adjusted to your daughters needs now (especially if you don't normally pump) and for some people there isn't much excess. If in doubt seek more advice from somewhere like La Leche League, ABA if in Australia, a lactation consultant or a doctor who is knowledgeable about breastfeeding.
