i have tried numerous times to get my 8 month old daughter to eat baby foods or juices she does not like either. She makes these crazy faces and starts to cry. i just dont know what to do she obviously cant stay on formula her whole life. I am open to any advice or sugestions please comment back

She's only 8 months! I know many babies who haven't eaten until later and had no problems with speech. Juice is actually unhealthy for babies so there's no need to for that on her. I would try finger foods as Gail suggested. Many babies don't like a spoon and to be honest 'baby food' especially from a jar, usually sounds disgusting to me so I'm not surprised some babies reject it.
She won't stay on formula her whole life don't worry.

My sons not a big eater, but have you tried giving her finger foods,, pieces of apple, melon, soldiers of toast.
My son will have a good nibble before it ends on the floor, but it could be thats she is wary and untrusting of food. When i give him something i make sure i eat some too.
As the other lady said though do speak to Dr, health visitor etc... as eating is important as helps with speech,, also helps the milk tooth process.

To be honest, Id actually try and talk to your pedi about that one! My son LOVES all of his baby food so I actually dont know what your going through...Maybe try some gerber yogurt? Thats what my son has for snack..Or if you give her oatmeal (or whatever cereal) in the AM, try mixing it with pear juice warmed up. Its tasty and does wonders for constipation (what your baby will prolly get once she starts actually eating jar/solid food!) Ive tried lots of juices and Gerber Pear is the only one he seems 2 like!
