All kids are different, my oldest daughter started getting them around 6-8 months, back to back. I could rarely tell when one was coming through, she never fussed a bit, sometimes she would get a temp but never over 100. She did get ear infections with a lot of them, but i could only tell when I took her temp and it was above 100, then we'd go to the dr, get meds...same ole routine til she got tubes and all of her teeth!
Now, my youngest is 10 months old, and she basically has all her front teeth. 8 total and that was last time I checked!! She started teething around 2-3 months! YES that early! I about choked when I seen that first tooth at 3 months! But she has steadily been getting them in. She will be fussy for a day or two, and then I'll see it popping through!!
A wash cloth wetted down and put in the freezer for a few hours is the BEST thing i've found to help with my kids pain. Its hard an crunchy, yet soaks up all the slobber when chewing on it!!

My two girls are like night and day. My three year old got her first teeth around 3 months (seriously), while my now 9 month old still has none! But even without teeth, she will eat anything you give her. She has eaten chicken, porkchops, crackers, toast, even steak! And not ground up or in a baby-food jar either. She despises the baby food, and we haven't ground anything for almost a month now. lol But still, no teeth whatsoever.
My 10 month old daughter still has none, but I'm not worried. My mom had to wait 'til I was a year old before my first teeth arrived :) I've heard that the later teeth come the stronger they are, but that may just be something my mom made up, who knows...

hey...my baby just turned 10 months old and got his 1st tooth a week ago. My mother in law said that her 3 sons didn't cut teeth til 11, 12, and 14 months....my son's doctor told me that the later their teeth come in, the healthier their teeth are going to be...

My first one was 10.5 months old when she cut her first tooth, the second baby is 10 months and 1 week old and still has no teeth. My teeth also came in late and my brother in law didn't cut his first tooth until a year and 1 month! So yes, its completely normal.

I have twin daughters that will be 10 months on the 21st of May. They are 7 minutes apart. Jozie, the oldest, still has no teeth. Kealie, the youngest of course, got her 2 bottom teeth at about 7 and 1/2 months. They weren't there on Saturday, and the next day they were both popping out!!! Interesting isn't it? Don't worry about it. Teeth are something that just happen differently for all babies.

It's quite normal, my son is 9 months and does not have any teeth yet even though he started teething at 6 months. How quickly babies teeth start coming is hereditary some babies have them earlier than others besides experts say the teething process can take between 6 months and 1 year and some babies even get their teeth just after 1 year. Don worry about it i even saw my doctor last week about my sons' 9 month check up n he said all was well, they will soon pop out.

my 2 oldest daughters did not get teeth til 14 and 15 months. my youngest is 9 months with no teeth and not signs of teeth. when my oldest went to the dentist he said her teeth looked great and she would have her baby teeth longer because they came in so late.
I have been told that average is 7 months. which means approximately half have their first tooth by this point and half won't.
Two of my kids were 6 months, one was 7 months the other was 10 months. Every kids is different. I don't think they worry until after a year.

my daughter is 10 months today, says near 30 words, is about to walk any second now, and has ZERO teeth! lol She was teething and drooling since 4.5 months yet still nothing and now she even drools way less (yesterday was her first day out without a bib!) Everyone always sees her smile and says "ohh I see teeth coming in" but there are none! lol The strange thing but is I can feel two bumps but they are more to the side!

My daughter who is now 7 didnt get her first teeth until just a couple days before her first birthday, and I was told that the later they come in the stronger they will be.. and she is the only one out of my 6 kids that does not have dental problems of some sort, so I think your daughter will be just fine.. my other kids teeth all came in early (before 6 mo.) So don't worry... :o)

if your worried you can always take her to a pediatric Dentist after 6 months old.. Sometimes they will start them on a flouride tablet which helps build strong teeth. not saying she needs it just saying it is Normal everykid is different and is your worried a child dentist can checkk it out for you and let you know. My 9 month old only has 2 bottom teeth but her cousin who is roughly the same age has like 7 teeth.

My niece didn't get her first tooth till she was 13 months old. Perfectly normal, and I think its better to get them later because then they are more capable of letting you know what is going on. My 9 month old has 6 already and 2 more coming and she's had such an awful time with it! Enjoy not having that pain in you lives just yet!

There are already several threads on this but... it's completely normal. All kids are different. My boy will be 10 months next week and his first tooth is just starting to poke out of his gums. My nephew got his first tooth at 11 months. I know one baby who was born with 4 showing through the gums. No point worrying about it - it's not like anything can be done to call them out!
