All I can say is keep trying to find a place that she is lay down and have a rest because you need this couple time so you feel like a human again not just a mother.

my son is 3 months and he is only like that in the middle of the night...so far i can bounce or rock him to sleep and then put him in the crib, swing, bouncer, whatever the case may be and when he wakes up, he does get a little upset but i just sit with him for a second or hold his and he goes straight back to sleep, i just needed to reassure him i was there. eventually we'll do it for the night too :D hope this helps

i totally feel you my 3month old daughter wont sleep anywhere but in bed with us no swing no bouncer nada and she has to be held 24/7 shell be dead asleep and as soon as you set her down boom wide awake in 5min... so she literally is held all day and shes a totally good and happy baby but she just wants to be babied 24/7 i havent stopped doin this myself but my cousin recommended those boppy pillows and wrappin a blanket around it and puttin her in the middle and shell feel like shes bein held tho i aint tryed it and well i understand ur alone time fustrations cuz we aint had any since before she was born soo i definatly feel your pain

it's hard sometimes to make that move to a crib or playpen so that little one can sleep on their own...i think mainly it is more of us not wanting to do so for fear that they wake up...every move seems so crucial! I will say my daughter got use to it...and my hubby and i have our bed back...yeah, we do have to get up to snuggle her or change a diaper or get a bottle, but then she is back to sleep. It didn't happen overnight though and we both let her sleep in our arms during naps usually. Same with the swing, it took her a few times to get use to it...and she might of fussed for a minute, but then realized that the swing was more consistant than mommy or daddy...and at times that's what she needed and us as well.



Good luck...i don't see anything wrong with her sleeping with you as long as she's safe and secure...it's just nice to have that time to yourself and your man.

well i hardly put her in her swing.lol she is usually with me in my arms if not her dad is carrying her. Or lying on the bed. she doesnt nap during the day maybe like a 30 minute nap then she's up. She sleeps through the whole night tho. but when she falls asleep for good i just dont want to move her from the bed to her swing or bouncy im aftraid to wake her and her be up forever. lol My other step kids are already big so when we say bed they go. its just the lilttle baby!

Do you have a playpen? A craddle? anything else availble she can rset in so you can "hum" ...our daughter also likes to sleep with me and only me. We don't get a lot of alone time either and she is the same age as your daughter actually and we have a 2yr old son also. We usually wait until our son is in bed before we try anything, if i'm ever in the mood and if she is sleeping in her swing we take the opportunity. Does she sleep after she gets a bottle or is she going through her waking days now with ittle napping? Does she sleep well at night? does she sleep at all in her swing?
