My son who turned two July 2nd is a little behind on speech. We hear him say a lot of words maybe 30-50 but only 10 or so he says daily. Every few days he says a new word but most he doesn't repeat often. He had hearing problems up to 9 months old because of fluids from birth in the ear but that has been taken care of. Our doctor doesn't want us to worry saying he would be behind because of the hearing issue. He's been saying "no", "momma", dog, go, car, dadda and this for months now daily. We've heard him say toy story, door, truck, grandpa, open, mine, and many others but not very often. He's stopped pointing and walking us over to things and either getting it himself, saying this, or when we don't understand just getting frustrated and cries. He's a happy, out going loving child. He understands everything we say and has always been advanced in everything else. When should we worry and what should we do to help.
