pillow under sheet?

My daughter is just over 3 months and sleeps in a pack and play. She sleeps way better on our bed during day time, I think its because she's elevated a little and it's not so hard. For a few days I tried putting an old flattened pillow under her sheet and it really helped, we also use a positioner to make sure she does'nt try to roll. I'm just so paranoid about her rolling and smothering. Anyone else have a "princess and the pea"?

You know, I read that putting books under the Mattress would help. There is elevation, but no soft places that can smother a baby if they roll over. There are also sleep positioners that are wedge shaped to put over the mattress and under the sheet.

my son is 3 months old and hes got a bad cough and the doctor told me to put a pillow under the sheet to prop him up a bit to help him breath better

Have you tried a lambswool rug? I have a lovely thick lambswool where my daughter sleeps, its lovely and soft and you could probably just fold the head end up a lil too make an elevation.
