Anyone elses baby potty train themselves? My daughter i 21 months and is out of diapers and doing great. I was shocked the first time she begged me to use the potty.

You all are so lucky! Celeste will be 2 at the end of July. I had started potty training her and she would go. Then we went on vacation and of course your schedule and routines get messed up so when we came back she has no interest. I tried putting panties on her and she pees everytime. I tell her to tell me when she has to go potty. She learns everything else but this... HELP! Any tips? I was thinking of getting her a Dora potty so she would like going...

My 23 month old is officially potty trained and prefers to use the regular toilet bowl... Most of the time she wears panties and only pull ups at nite in which she never had an accident in the last 7 nights. We are so proud of her:)

Jazmin, my son wanted to do it the minute he saw his 5 year old cousin go....I would say if your kiddo is fond of an older kid that is potty trained, that might work. Good Luck!

My LG is showing some interest and sits on her potty whenever i am sitting on the loo - when i notice her hiding to have her poo i run her over to the potty and sit her on it and we laugh about her using the potty "one day soon" but otherwise she is nowhere near trained - with it being so cold at this time of year i am loathe to let her run around in undies all day. Am not stressing about it and will wait till it's warmer to embark on the "nappy free" journey

That's fantastic! Mine was showing interest but didn't "get it" until last week....he's doing great, except for the poo which I can't get him to do on the potty. He will hide, so now I have to keep an eye on him and the minute I realize he's hiding I need to get him on that potty! lol.

We're doing really, really well here too! The last week she's been in pull-ups with no accidents while she's awake. If I don't get her quick enough after nap she will pee and she goes overnight, but otherwise she will say "poopies" and run to her potty every time she pees or poops. It's awesome as I have a 2 month old in diapers so 1 less is a relief
