when can i start my baby on food first then how long for his bottle

at the moment he eats what we eat most the time he has been having solids since he was 4 and a half months he is now 7 months!! he can chew most things wasnt sure coz some health nuses say areounf 9 10 months breafast then mid moring a bottle lunch then mid afternoon bottles then tea and bottle befoer bed so i m not sure if is ok at his age now :) he is slowly learnig to drink water from a sippy cup

Is he drinking from a sippy cup to get his liquids? I think since solids stay in a baby's stomach longer he'll be hungry less. So after solids, you can try to offer him a bottle every 2-4 hours and see if he'll take it. If he's just starting out on solids he probably won't even be able to swallow a lot of solids so maybe even sooner.
