I am wondering if your July babies are getting his/her 1st tooth yet? My girl is 7 mths (july 20) has been teething for what seems like forever now, and i can just barely and i mean barely feel the ridges of her tooth. She has not started to get on her hands and knees yet, but is very persistate at trying to do so..

Where are all of your July munchkins at?

My daugher was born July 9th and she has her bottom 2 teeth in and I believe is working on her top two. No crawling yet, she just pulls herself along, you know the army crawl (thats what my kids call it). There is another boy in her daycare that is already standing on his own. I looked at him, then looked at her and thought, what is wrong with my daugher? We will drive ourselves crazy comparing our babies to others :) We want them to do everything so quickly and then wonder where the time went.

Our son was born 7/9/09. No teeth, but has been teething literally for months! The doc said at his 6 mo. check-up any day now- and that was 2 mo. ago! I'm not complaining, though- I'm still nursing and not anxious for those teeth to appear! He's crawling and pulling up on everything and standing for a couple of secs.

my son was born 7-17-09 and he got his first tooth (bottom middle right) on Feb 25th, now he has 3 more coming in..(bottom middle left....on top right one over from the middle...& the top right about half way back! ) He'll get up on his hands & knees to crawl but once he falls he gives up & just does his army crawl. He will pull himself up to his feet if you hold his hands...then he will also walk with you holding his hands.

my daughter was born July 4th 2009 and has her 2 bottom teeth, they pretty much came up at the same time which I didn't know could happen! I also felt as though she was teething forever and getting nowhere. I was talking to a girl I kow and she told me that when her son was teething, she would just rub her finger on his gums. Not only does it feel good to the child, but it helps brake open the gum (not in a painful way) I started doing that and about a week later her first one broke through :) good luck, don't stress too much, it gets easier

My daughter is 7.5 months - 7/29, and also teethed for a long time, starting around 4 months. She actually just had both front teeth push through about 2 weeks ago! Hopefully the rest won't be so stubborn. She has been creeping for over a month, but I recently read that babies now are crawling way later than they used to because moms are being told to put baby to sleep on the back, where babies used to be on their bellies all the time before the huge SIDS campaign! My nephew is 9.5 months and is cruising around like crazy, but still isn't on his knees yet!

My 8 month old (July 9th) has 4 teeth on the top and 2 on the bottom and just this week broke a third on the bottom. He gets up on all fours but won't go forward. He can stand while holding onto a table with me helping.

Thats ok! he is probably learning other things just now. Also it has been shown that second and third siblings crawl and walk later and also dont hold bottles or cups as early as first children. The thinking is that the older siblings and parents do it for them!

My daughter is 7 months born on July 25, I thought she would be teething forever, her first tooth just popped through 2 nights ago. She's been crawling for a couple months now and this past month standing up she's trying so hard to walk by herself.. It just seems like everything is happening so fast.

My daughter was born 22 July and has no teeth. She will put just about anything into her mouth and suck on it. She's only just started to sit up unaided, but only if I put her into a seated position. No signs of crawling just yet.

My little guy was born July 21st, 2009. He's got 2 teeth, and they're pretty defined right now. He likes to bite down on things alot. He's not mastered in the crawling, although he does 'Army crawl' very fast. He tends to chase me through the living room.

My daughter has been teething since she was 1 1/2 months old but still nothing. She gets up on her hands and knees but she rather walk. She's not walking on her own yet but she has taken a quick step by herself. My parents call her the queen of side stepping.

Jaimee was born July 31, 2009 and was 3 weeks early ( don't know if it makes a difference) and she has no teeth yet, she sits all by herself very well, pulls herself up from sitting to a standing position but is very wobbly on her feet! 2 days ago she started to scoot while sitting on her bottom using her arms and goes backwards! Kinda weird but super cute! If she wants to go somewhere she will roll her way to it if it is in her eyesight! She likes to play on the ground and can get her knees under her but is to antsy to go than to take the time to figure out crawling! She loves to walk if we are holding her hands! Since she was a preemie does that mean she will be a little late hitting all of her milestones? My first daughter was walking on her own completely at 7 and a half months and crawled for about 2 weeks befoe she walked.

My daughter was born July 21st. She has her bottom center 2 teeth for more than a month now but nothing on the top yet. She is still chewing everything though and can now eat the whole grain puff thingies on her own ..though makes a big mess. :)

She is not crawling yet, but sits very well and also stands with support. She is not pulling herself up yet. I am wondering if we need to do something special to help her learn that...we have the exersaucer and she loves that.

Hello,

My son just turned 8 months and he has 2 teeth. He is barely crawling backwards. :) He pushes himself forward, and reaches out for things very well. He is wearing 12 months clothing and is about 22lbs. :) He is a joy!

He is VERY lazy. Doesnt even like holding his own bottle. It is so amazing how much different he is from his sister.

My little Leo was born July 15th and got his first 2 teeth just days before Christmas, got his 3rd and 4th in January and is working on 5 and 6 right now. He's also crawling and pulls himself up and stands while holding on to something. I'm dreading walking, he's so fast! My sister's son was born August13th and he was crawling at 4 months! It's amazing how babies all have their own pace- and enjoy this time not getting bit and having to race around after him, hiding every possible danger in sight! No real words yet just fake coughing(hilarious!) and da-da-da-da and since we call Dad "Papa" I still have hope he'll say my name first! :) Oh! and he just learned how to wave at people, he flops his whole arm around wildly, SO cute!

She on the other hand is tryin to crawl and my son hasn't made up his mind.
