Anyone else with a nearly 4month old with teething issues, I have done the orajel and the tylenol and the carrot sticks and the teethers but he is still crying and fussy all day. Any other tips I could try?? because its getting to the point where he is waking up 4 to 6 times a night thanks to those teeth which have yet to come in!

Quoting Holly:

I thought gripe water was for gassy tummies.

Yes that's true but it also helps during teething.

"Gripe Water has been used as a gentle method of relieving wind pains and minor tummy upsets in babies and young children, particularly at the difficult period when they are teething."

Hope it helps :)

My boy is 4 months and he is drooling alot ... his gums also seem to be bothering him ...im not sure whether it is his teeth starting but he seems to like it when i rub my pinkie finger along his gums...if you were in South Africa i would suggest Biltong ... it works like a charm so they say

My son is going through the same thing. When it's bad he won't nurse, he just screams. I use the teething tablets, and they seem to help. The other thing he really loves, and helps a lot, is crushed ice in a wash cloth. He likes chewing on cloth anyway, and the crushed ice helps to numb things. Good luck. I feel your pain!

I am going through the exact same thing with my son. I have tried everything you have, as well as Hyland's Teething Tablets. I honestly don't know if anything is helping or if he just has better days than others. He wakes up every hour or so each night no matter what, but some nights he is at least less fussy when he wakes...could be the teething tablets helping??? Something that I have heard of, but never have tried, is soaking a small wash cloth in apple juice and freezing it, then letting them chew on it.
