I'm going to Florida at the beginning of March....just the baby and I. I'm a little nervous about how she may do on the flight...it is only three hours, but I'd appreciate any tips on how to entertain her/keep her content for the duration of the flight. Any other tips about travel with baby would be greatly appreciated:)

my son has been on 6 planes since birth ...paci or bottle as going up in the air due to air pressure itll hurt babies ears, hold ur child close so they dont freak about the sounds after an hour your child will get use to it

i have traveled..god..i don't even know how many miles now with my LO. He's been to jersey and back to el paso, alaska and back to el paso, jersey again than from there to Switzerland. My son is amazing on flights. The vibration keeps him asleep. that and keep either a binky or bottle handy for takeoff and landing. Other than that make sure you have plenty of food and drink. Tyelnol for urself. Oh and just ask stewardesses for things..they LOVE to help. They pretty much took care of my son when i ws sick on a flight!!..good luck. I am actually traveling back to the states in two weeks. Hoping my son stays good on the flight

i'll be taking two, hour long flights with twin 8 month olds at the end of march!
my mom told me to give them a bottle when taking off (& maybe landing i can't remember!) because the sucking & swallowing equalizes the pressure in their ears.
i'm going to try it! good luck to you (& I!)

we travelled in a car with our child for 8 hours and took his favorite toys and his favorite baby einstein dvd. I fed him in the seat on the way and we stopped for nappy changes. We are on routine at home but as he was unable to sleep his normal duration (1 1/2-2hr) due to the bright environment his routine was out the window. He slept 30 min twice the whole trip but he was happy!!! Instead of feeding every 4 hours it was every 3 1/2 hours anything to keep him and the rest of the travellers happy. When we arrived he settled back into his routine well and slept from 630pm-615am! All the best let us know how you go
