hi my son turned 6 months on the 10th of july... he was 8,13 born and is now 10kg and the length of a 8 month old.... good for the arm muscles lol..
anyway he has been on solids sice 6 weeks by directions of the pediatrician just a bit of farex...
he now eats patato, pumkin, pea's, carrot, rsk sticks, farex,weet-bix, banana , avacado , all home prepared though...

what else is ok to give him? true i have a 10 yr old and a 6 yr old too but 6 yrs is a long time to forget and things have changed so much in 6 years... any memory rebooting will be very much appreciated....

thanks

We just give him finger food that's easy to eat - sticks of steamed carrots, beans, cucumber, fruit etc. He picks and chooses, eats what he wants. He's never had a spoon - he decides for himself what he puts in his mouth (with supervision of course, I don't let him eat paper as he would love to do)

Check out wholesomebabyfood.com

it is a great resource for homemade babyfood.

Elijah is 6 months old.

We started with rice & oatmeal infant cereal at about 3 or 4 months. He has had

avacado, banana, acorn squash, butternut squash, apple sauce, pear puree, carrots, green beans, sweet peas, sweet potatoes, yellow squash, peaches & mango.
