Latoya, thats what my baby does too, except the four forks hah she only has one....

i was talking to my pediatrician and she said sitting up is normally 6 months, crawling is usually 9...so they are ahead of the game..every child develops and grows differently though

Alexander (born July 9th, what a great date) can sit up well, crawl backwards (apparently common) and occasionally will move a little forward, he can also get to a sitting position from a crawl. Has 2 bottom teeth, sleeping through the night, able to put himself to sleep and "talks" all the time, no actual words yet. Just starting to love oatmeal, peas and green beans (not mixed together lol).

My little boy was born on 15 July. He has been sitting sine before 6 months, pulling himself up since 5 months and crawling since he turn 6 months. At 7 months he started free-standing and can now stand without holding on for about 30 seconds. He has also discovered the toilet roll and when I know he is crawling towards it I get up to stop him and he crawls really fast so that he can get there before I stop him. this age is so cute. He also has 4 teeth and seems to be teething some more now. I'm trying to teach him to wave and clap but he doesn't get it yet. He babbles a lot and know what certain words mean but doesn't say any words yet.

My twins were born July 14th. My one, Colin, who seems to be the go getter gets on all 4's and rocks. He's trying so hard to crawl. He gets one knee under and pushes himself. He army crawls. He's sitting really good. Tips over sometimes because he has crazy legs (always moving). Robbie just kinda hangs back. They both pull themselves around in circles and to what they want. Robbie isn't too good at sitting yet. We say he has a round bottom...lol. We hold our bottles and babble.....oh and did I mention screech? LOL!

My daughter Zoe was born July 7th. She well and truely has perfected crawling and has now mastered the one step in the house (no longer confined to my loungeroom). She also pulls herself up on the furniture and stands against windows/mirrors. She is saying a few words but just the basics like Daddy, Bubub, Mumum and Nan :) Oh and a lot of other noises too.

The only thing we are waiting on is her teeth - lots of teething symptoms but no teeth yet :(

I just started giving my Gavin finger foods on valentines day...he was born July 16th, I think it all depends on how well he chews and what your giving him...I started out with those gerber graduate sweet potato puffs and occassionally some plain cheerios and he does fine b/c he chews really well.

Well my Gavin who was born July 16, 2009 is rolling over and over and over LOL also when he is on his tummy he turns around like a clock hand, he can sit up by himself for a little bit but he is so active that he usually slouches down so he can roll. He is not crawling yet but will get up on his knees; I just don't think he knows what to do with his hands because he usually falls on his nose. Hopes this helps

My little guy Jayden was born July 23rd. He makes little noises and mocks the noises we make.He has tons of smiles and tons of laughs. If we tap on the floor he will do the same thing. He claps and waves his arms around. He gets in the position to crawl but hasn't got the motion down yet. He will scoot backwards and roll over both ways. He loves to reach for his bink, the phone, remotes, anything that requires actual reaching. He examines everything! He loves looking in the mirror. He can sit up unassisted for the most part but falls backward if he gets too excited about something. We are using both sippy cups and bottles and he hold them fairly well for a 7 month old.

My son, Tommy, was born on July 11, 2009! I was in labor for 16 hrs with him. Tommy is having some issues right now. He's unable to sit up by himself yet and if I lay him on his belly, he doesn't know how to use him arms and legs. If he's on his back, though, he's fine and can hold things, etc.
He also doesn't know how to feed himself yet. I'll give him a bottle and he can sorta hold it, but if it falls, he doesn't know how to pick it back up to feed himself.
Any suggestions?

She is working on crawling/scooting and likes standing but needs support, can't do it herself yet. She is active and kicks and shakes and moves like she wants to take off but she isn't yet there....it will come soon enough,

My baby was born July 3rd(she is also our third baby) and is scooting everywhere and rolling more than scooting. She can sit up unassisted for long periods but not put herself there. She's probably 20 lbs now(was 19lbs 7oz at her last check up). She was sleeping great and eating a lot of baby food, but doesn't seem to be doing much of either anymore. Evie(Belle) is also saying mama(when she wants me and sometimes when she's just babbling) and baba, bubu, and other babbling noises. She also growls and screaches. No teeth yet, but acting like they will be in soon. Normally she's an angel but not for the last few days, I'm guessing it's teething. OH, she also waves sometimes and lots of kisses. No standing yet, no real crawling either. Tons of rocking though and pushes out of it where she wants to go. She always gets there. Loves the jumper. Okay I should stop. :)

She also has 3 older siblings to run after(4yr old,3yr old and a 2yr old)she also is eating a lot of our foods. She refused babyfood so we just held off until she started showing interest in grabbing foods. Now shes on to mac n cheese, pancakes, oatmeal, cheerios or the like and more! She gets into everything. I figure at this rate she will be a toddler soon! Walking before her 1st bday :D It was fun to hear what everyones babies at similar ages are doing!

My baby girl as born on the 19th of July. She has been doing a halfway between commando crawling and hands and knees crawling for about a month (looks like a weird swimming stroke). She says mumum, and da. She just learnt to wave hello and bye bye (and now everyone must wave or she gets upset). Keeps trying to pull up on things but usually gets to her knees and falls down but can stand by herself if you help her get to her feet. Also weirdly dances (rocks sideways) to certain music and ads on TV. Do other peoples babys dance? Also she eats pretty much anything mushed up.

Our daugher was born on the 22nd (she is 7 months today). She has been sitting up perfectly since just before Christmas. She has been holding her own bottle since she was about 4 months old. She loves her jumper and jumps the entire time you are holding her too. She can roll from her tummy to her back and her back to her tummy very well, she just goes all over the room rolling. She has not crawled yet, but she is getting there, she pushes up on all 4's but doesn't do anything (no rocking or moving yet). She can stand at her toys and play for a little while but then her little legs get tired. She eats breakfast, lunch and dinner and has a couple bottles in between. Her favorite foods are green beans, squash, and pears. She sleeps about 9-10 hours at night, but doesn't nap during the day...she takes 2-3 15-minute naps and that is it (UGH!) No teeth yet...but we put everything in our mouth and this week she has decided that playing with my teeth is VERY interesting (she is so weird!). She weighs 17 lbs. 15 oz. and is doing great!

I had my little boy on the 13th july, he was supposed to be born on the 6th. He is now just over 7 months, and has his first tooth, he gets up on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth and every so often he does what i call a "bunny hop", he can sit up but only for a few seconds he hasn't quite mastered that yet, he says mama very clearly, also hi, bye, and gives kisses, he sits in his walker and can make it go backwards and just slightly forwards, he's slept straight through the night since he was 2 1/2 months, he constanly smiles at everybody and laughs like a little hyena.

He pulls himself up on anything he can! Cruises between objects. He can bend down to pick up toys and digs through his toy box. His 3rd tooth just came through and he can say Mama, Na Na, but he says Da Da more than anything. He just learned how to wave bye bye.

Dawson was born July 7th, he was 4 weeks early and a BIG boy since the beginning, weighing in at 9lbs 11ozs, 21 inches long. He is now 23lbs. He sits up on his own very well, barely ever falls over. He likes to sit for hours and just watch everything going on. He is my second child, my daughter is 6 1/2. He has no desire to crawl or walk along furniture. He loves to jump in his jumperoo and his doorway jumper. He picks everything up and loves to dump over his small toy bin. He has only rolled over a few times, only from his tummy to his back because he HATES tummy time. When on his back, Dawson likes to grab his feet and just lay there like that. He eats stage 2 foods 3xs a day and takes 6 oz bottles at the most. No teeth yet, but he has been teething like crazy for the past month. Vocal wise he doesn't talk, just laughs at everything. He was a very colic baby until 6 months, now finally getting easier. He is just starting to finally sleep through the night, going down at 7 or 8 and sleeping until about 6 or so.

My son, Jenson Thomas-Louis, was born on the 7th of July, and he is my 3rd, all boys! Lucky me! lol! Perhaps its because I have the other 2 boys (Taylor 6 yrs and Casey 2 1/2 yrs), Jen doesn't have any need to do ANYTHING! He rolls from his tummy to his back, but not back to tummy, he jumps a lot in his jumperoo, and he scoots himself around in circles while lying on his back using his feet. Apart from that, he doesn't do anything else. Not interested in trying to sit or trying to roll around. He rarely cries, he's just a very content baby, but then that is probably due to any sound he makes the boys are there to pass him toys or they come tell me "Jenson wants a boobie"!!! HaHaHa! My other 2 were crawling, sitting, and doing all sorts by now, my eldest was walking a week before 9 months old! So i'm actually quite enjoying having a baby who is a bit more dependent on me for a bit longer since he is DEFINATELY my last!
