Whats your feeding schedule like??

My little guy was born on July 25 and he's a good eater. He wakes around 5 for a 6-8oz bottle then back to sleep. I wake him up at 6:30 to go to daycare. He has 4oz of cereal mixed with fruit with a 4 oz bottle at 9am. At lunch time he has 3.5oz of a veggie and 1-2 oz of fruit along with 4-6 oz bottle at around 1pm. At dinner time he eats around the same amount for lunch which is 5ish. I can keep feeding him solids till he finishes the 3.5 oz jar or fruit but i stop! He then eats a 6-8 oz bottle at 8 for bed time. He's on mostly stage 2 but i have introduced stage 3 because he can handle it. I also give him a snack time at around 3pm because he can eat the gerber graduate crunchies.

my baby girl (july 27th) gets up at 6 am eats breakfast -whole container of stage 2 fruit mixed with 2-3 tablespoons cereal, with a 4 oz bottle. she then eats lunch between 11 and 12 - whole container of stage 2 veggies and 4 oz bottle (sometimes has a 4 to 6 oz bottle between breakfast and lunch- around 9 am ). She then has a 4 oz bottle around 3 Pm. Dinner is at 6 Pm - whole container of stage 2 Dinner (meat w/ veggie ) and 4 oz bottle. Then bath between 8:30 and 9 and 6 oz bottle then off to bed and sleeps until 6 AM.

My big guy Caden at 21 lbs will be 8 months on the 8th of march. He usually wakes up around 8 or 8:30 and I give him a 5 oz bottle, he then plays for about an hour and then I give him oatmeal mixed with a fruit...he usually takes a quick cat nap at about 11:00. I feed him lunch (usually a stage 2 veg and fruit) at 12:30 followed by a 4oz bottle. Then i put him down for a nap at 1:00. He sleeps 2 hrs. When he wakes up I give him his sippy cup of juice and a snack (like graduate puff cereal). At 4:30 he has a 6oz bottle. Plays for a few hours. I feed him dinner at 7:30 (usually a meat and veg) give him his bath at 8:00. He has a 5oz bottle right before bed and goes to sleep around 8:45 and sleeps all night long!

Cj was born July 29th.....he gets up around 530am gets a bottle then the next feeding 4 hrs later he gets his cerial with fruit then a bottle then i dont give him more cerial until dinner time cerial and a vegi then a bottle n bed u dont wanna get used to just giving her fruit bc she wont eat her vegis which is important for them! Im sure u know that tho :)

it took a WHILE to get her there...sometimes she veers off a bit...has a little less but she's so funny when she eats...likes to put her feet in her mouth too...so im not sure what tastes to her :-) all babies are different (she's my first too, so im kinda just winging it and go by her, but she's pretty good at sticking to her schedule.. ) good luck and congrats on your lil munchkin :-)

No vicki, no reason. Was just curious on how other people did it. She is my first and I do what just seems right. I feed her when she is hungry and give bottles in between.
It is hard to read feeding schedules, but it makes me see that I am doing pretty much what others do and makes me feel good

He usually has a bit of breakfast with me, a bit of lunch with me and a bit of dinner with me. Sometimes he has snacks. If we go to a playgroup he often scavenges food off the floor or steals it off other kids... or they feed him. If he's asleep around one of the mealtimes we don't bother. He breastfeeds on demand and when going to sleep and a few times a night. At the moment he's standing up a lot and falling over, so most of his feeds are for comfort after falls. So no schedule whatsoever.

Am I the only one who gets dizzy reading schedules of other people?

Do you have a reason for wanting to up her food intake? If she's happy and healthy why change it?

Wow Amy. I am lucky to get Abigal to take 4oz at a time. She never was a big eater at once. She is tiny still, 14lbs at 7 months. Thanks for you input, I will def. keep what your schedule is in mind

our little leigha will be 8 months march 10th..she has an 8.5oz bottle when she gets up around 6ish...breakfast at like 10am cereal with a fruit (or jar of food depending) and 5oz bottle...usually naps from 11-1. lunch at 2:30ish cereal again with a fruit or veggie and 5oz bottle..naps usually again for a bit...dinner is around 6:30pm and thats cereal with a veggie and another 5oz bottle. she goes to bed around 8-8:30ish and up again at 6am to start all over again

Hale is 7 1/2 months and I breastfeed on demand somewhere around 6 times in 24 hours. he eats stage 2 baby food usually mixed with cereal (oatmeal, rice, or mixed grains). He has some in the morning and evening and sometimes afternoon if he seems extra hungry. he will eat anywhere from 4oz food/cereal to 8oz in a sitting. He has a healthy appetite but isn't really big - 16 lbs 5 oz at 7 months old

my little girl was born july 29 i just do what works best for me, bub and family. If you are happy with your morning bottle i would try giving her veggies or fruit after bottle say around mid morning then bottle around lunch and some veg or fruit and keep your night time routine as it is working best for you and bub! I breastfeed though so i'm not sure about number of bottles a day but my health nurse said try and give 3-4 breastfeed's a day and three soild's for my little girl so that is what i do. Good luck!

My girl, July 24th eats solids everyday at 12:30pm and 5:30pm on the dot... She knows to expect it and can alway tell when it's lunch or dinner. Other than that 4 oz bottles at a time when she's hungry. Usually 6oz at 8:30 when she wakes up and 6oz at 9:30 for bed time. Seems to be satisfied, however she started waking up at night to eat so I think she may be going through a growth spurt.

Thanks for you input. Abigal used to get up at 5 for a bottle then sleep til 9. Not recently though. Today we played it by ear and did cereal with fuit at about 1045am with 3oz bottle, "dinner" when she got hungry at like 3 with bottle then her nighttime cereal with fruit an hour before bed then 4oz at bed. Just was wondering what others were doing so i thank you

K was born July 28. She isn't an eater first thing either. Her usual routine is up at 5am for a feed and back to sleep. Then usually sleeps till 9ish, but sometimes is up again at 7. At 9 she gets a feed, then food - combination of mash and baby rice, and this has gone from about 2 teaspoons to much more this week. She's usually up for about an hour or two, has a sleep. Lunch time (anywhere from 12 to 3 - depends on how much she sleeps) is feed then food like breakfast. Another quick snooze about 4pm, feed at 5, then 6:30 or 7 followed by food. Bed about 8, then hopefully sleeps through, but usually up once or twice at night.

General advice i've read and heard is to feed them bottle or breast first, then give them as much food as they want about 3 times a day.
