my son is 6 months and he sometimes holds his bottle, when its not too heavy or he's not too tired, for about a week he did it every bottle and now he refuses to hold it most of the time. do any of your babies hold there's? and when did they start?

my daughter is 24 weeks or 5 and half months and has been holding her bottle since 4 months old. i would put it in her moth and she would put both hands on and hold it. now she can pick it up and put it in her mouth she even drinks out of a nuby sippy cup. i dont think there is any time limit, it just depends. i must admit, i love her being able to go to bed with her last bottle for the day! it certainly makes life easier.

My daughter is 5 1/2 months and she just started holding her bottle last week. There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to it. We now just set her in her bouncy seat and hand it to her and she usually holds it. If not we help out, after all that's what we are here for!

My son first started trying to hold his bottle at 14 weeks old. He just made 5 months and now has the bottle holding thing mastered, he holds every bottle on his own.

My son is almost 6 months and just started trying to hold his bottle a few weeks ago. If he wants me to hold it I try to make him mad by dropping it so he wants to hold it. It has seemed to help and almost every feeding I can get him to hold onto it. He still drops it and I have to pick it up and help him put it back in his mouth. But he seems to enjoy it...
