Congrats Erin !! :) Im glad Danny is enjoying being a big brother. My two are enjoying thier new brother too, i knew they would. I had forgotten how much washing they make....how can someone so small make so much mess haha. I have come to terms with the fact my washer will always be constantly on!! and that my basket will never be empty! Enjoy your babies girls. xx

Hi everyone. Just wanted to let everyone know that Steven Robert Ingersoll has arrived! He was born on July 6th at 9:17am. He weighed 7lbs 3 1/4oz and was 20 inches long. Labor was 7 hours long and I too only pushed for 15 minutes. I got really lucky and my epidural worked and I only had one tiny tear that when the dr checked before I was discharged he said that he couldn't see it anymore. The worst part about it was being away from my first son, Danny. Everyone is adjusting pretty well. Danny will bring me Steven's pacifier, and he will throw dirty diapers away for me. A great big brother. Sorry it took this long to let you gals know, but it has been a busy week trying to get a new routine going.

Just wanted to update and let you know that Craig Joseph Bills "C.J." was born July 5th at 5:29 pm 6lbs 9oz 19 1/2 inches long!!! Only in labor or 5 hours and only pushed for 15 mins. I tore pretty bad and I was poked 6-8 times with the epidural that was only in for 5 mins so I felt most of it. But my little guy is happy and heathy! I'll take a while to heal but Very Very happy!

Well, I'm dialated 2 cm and they have taken me off my meds and bed rest. I'll be 36 weeks on tuesday and they told me to start doing things around the house again and he'll be here in no time! I'm a little nervous as I have just realized I was induced with my daughter and have no Idea how to count contractions! HELP! I'm horrifed and am afraid to move LOL. My parents are on vacation and while I don't want them in the room when I deliver I did want them in the state! I can't wait to hold my littl man but my husband is on nights this weekend so no mom, no husband.... I have other family but these two were my rocks through my daughter's pregnancy and delivery!

Hailey my daughter is only 2 but she is enjoying "helping" paint the nursery and folding the clothes and getting his cradle and Car seat ready! She keeps kissing my belly and saying she's gonna be a big sister but I don't think she fully understands what that all means!

I have 2 weeks left. I was concerned about when to head to the hospital when my labor starts because I live 45 minutes away. So I asked about it and Dr. said that because I am so far away that I should start heading down when my contractions are 10 minutes apart or if my water breaks. She also said that if when they check me at 39 weeks and I am more than 3cm that they are going to schedule an induction (which I really don't want). But she doesn't want to risk me not being able to make it to the hospital. If my water breaks before I start having contractions like it did with my first it won't be a problem. But for now its just a waiting game.

Take care Erica, the resting will be worth it. Is this your second baby? I bet your little girl is excited?? my two were. in fact it was my little girls idea to have a new baby....she begged and begged.

Hailey!!! Congrats!!! I'm so excited for you :)

I'm still on bedrest but upgraded to light bedrest which means I'm allowed to do a few things around the house and care for my daughter while my husband works but I'm suppose to be sitting and resting when he is home/up. I have a concern about how I'm going to know I've gone in labor when they have me on pills to stop my contractions... I see them wed so hoping to get that point across but I don't want him to come too early, I'm only 35 weeks. I'd like to wait at least 2 more weeks so he can be considered full term. I think more than anything I'm ready to stop being an incubator and start being a mommy again! Good luck ladies and lets keep up the birth stories as they come!!! (gives the rest of us something to look forward to!)

I had my little boy on the 13th!!!! 3 weeks early, little monkey! knew he would be though, thought id been in laybour for a few days then my water broke seconds before i left the house for the school run......brill timing! pains came about 2ish then got nasty at 4ish begged to change my mind for a c-section as only had gas and air and a half dose of morphine, so, they got me ready, signed the papers, put my flattering waist high stockings on and then i said hang on dont you think you should check me first im going to push. Well it was too late, he was there. pushing was hell, she wouldnt let me close my legs, she really hurt me. She was a meanie! but he came out at 7:30 happy, healthy, straight onto my tummy. Neil got to cut the cord this time, i got to see the placenter this time. she didnt wisk him away for weighing or faffing, i just held him and it was perfect this time. I had never felt what it was like to push and go into laybour on my own, i had an epidural first time and then a c-section last both with inductions. My kids were healthy but always had a longing for a natural birth. Well now i know why your mind makes you forget what it feels like!!! Good luck girls, enjoy every moment its so special :) xx

So I had my sonogram this morning. Baby is definitely a boy, Ultra sound tech made sure we got to see it. they guess his weight at 6lbs 4oz ( the exact weight of my first when he was born). 3 more weeks so baby may gain another 1-1.5lbs. he is in the right position for birth.Dr. checked today and i am not dilated but I wasn't expecting to be. Now i am really excited to meet him and really can't wait to see what he looks like.

Awww that stinks Erica. I have been having some bad back cramps and pelvic pain. I go see the doc this Friday so Ill find out if they are going to do anything diff in maybe try to pop my water a little sooner. This is my third time so I can not wait, just feel like she putting me through the ringer with the pain. I was diagnosed with Irritable Uterus (IU), which has been fun in itself :(. I am hoping some of the pain iv been feeling is getting me ready in giving birth. I want a natural birth like i did with my last two. But the last ultra sound she was still breached hope she not anymore.
I also live a good ways out of town and all the EMS people here are volunteers so not the same response time as in town. So that another reason i want to talk to the doc about having her early, bc if i have a complication I have to wait on them and then I live thirty mins away from the hospital and if she was like my other two I wont have time for that trip. I also worry about any complications with her with giving birth just bc my last child made me loose a lot of blood. so better im at the hospital then home.

Hailey I am glad they are letting you do what you want for now. I wish you all the luck and hope you get to have this birth the way you want.

Erin usually the 2nd one goes faster then the first. That is what happen to me. I only lived about 5 mins away, my water broke and got there and they told me i might not get epidural bc they were not sure who was on call and i was so close to not being able too, but I was lucky and the closer person was on call and I got it just in time bc about a min after I needed to push.

4 weeks left for me. I would like to go natural (with epidural). I am really hoping that this one goes as well as my first, my water broke by itself, had the epidural and only ended up pushing for 15 minutes. But can I get that lucky twice? they scheduled me for another sonogram for next week just to check babys size. I am kinda worried that they will tell me that I am having a girl since they didn't sound too sure the last time. Not that I wouldn't mind having a little girl but people have gotten me stuff for a little boy even thoughI said that they weren't sure. But as for me I am ready for this baby to be here. Wondering what he'll look like. But a little nervous about going through birth again.

3 1/2 weeks left....eeek! they would rather i had a c section but i said no way! they also said as soon as i go into laybour i have to go strait to hospital and have continious monitoring with the strap round my waist. Well i convinced them to let me have my water birth with no strap and no c section! I said if they were going to make me go in, lay down on a bed then i would probably just stay at home in the bath! Really determined to have a natural very active birth this time see if it is much diferent to my other two. I really beat myself up about how my other two births so this time i would at least like to start out the way i planned it. Going to try some hypno to, see if that helps, gas and air aswell. I have had two epidurals so know they are there as an option to fall back on.

Julie I"m on and off bed rest, I keep having cramping and pressure. I want to have him natural, well with an epidural but pretty certian im going to need a c section. How r u doing??
