What I mean is, of course when Jasper was younger, he asked where babies come from and I told him from the mommy's tummy but now at age 6, he came up to me the other day with his 3 year old brother in tow and asked a more specific question of "Mom, How do people get pregnant?"
I normally am pretty open with my children when it comes to explaining things and I normally feel like there is an open and honest way to explain just about everything but this really caught me off guard.
In that moment, I was sitting there, surprised, wondering what to say and luckily within a minute, they were busy with other things and had forgotten about it. But I am still uncertain as to how I would handle that question, should it come up again, any thoughts? Or similar experiences?
