I have had several preemies, one at 36 wks, one at 33 wks and one at 28 wks. All were scary, but our 33 wker was the sickest and was in the hosp for 4.5 months. Our June baby was the 28 wker. Her due date was origionally in Aug. Big difference.

Hi Carol! My son born in June 2005 was not early but I have a son that is 6 and was born December 2003 and was born 10 weeks early. It has been quite a ride! I would love to hear your story and exchange ideas:)

my oldest child was born at 34 weeks she was 4lbs and she was in the hospital for 2 weeks she now takes speech therapy once a week physical therapy every other week for clumsiness and occupational therapy starts soon she is doin alot better i'm proud of her.

My little girl weighed 1lb & 10oz., 10 in. She was so tiny. A micro peemie. The fiest time I seen her she had already lost 4 oz.. How scary to see all the wires and tubes. Especially the breathing machine. It made her whole tiny body shake.

My daughter was born June 2005 11 weeks early. She weighed in at a whopping 3lbs 5 ozs. Her only lasting side effect is a very mild case of 'spastic diplegic cerebral palsy'. She is the last person you would convinvce is handi-capp. I'm proud of her.

I have a preemie born 9 weeks early, on June 7th 2005. She weighed 2 lbs 5 oz and was 13 inches long. She has definitely caught up to a normal body size, but has some OT and PT issues. How about your little one?

hi carol i had twin girls on 5th june 2005 and thet were 8 weeks prem, they are still some of the smallest kids in the class.
