Double Stroller Recommendations

Does anyone LOVE their double stroller, or know of other parents who do? We're expecting our second baby soon, and so we're in the market for one. I think I'm more interested in a jogger stroller than the tandem style, only for the reason that when we currently use a stroller we're likely on sidewalks or paved walking paths. Another question; we currently don't have a jogger stroller, so I'm not really familiar with their features. Do the seats fully recline in them so that they can be used with an newborn, or do you have to wait to till the baby's neck muscles are strong enough to support their head? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for all the recommendations, and pointers.  I ended up coming across a great deal on a 2008 Kelty double jogger, so I purchased it.  (Over 50% off, can't argue with that price on one of those guys!) The front wheel doesn't swivel unfortunately, but the storage basked under it is HUGE and there are even 2 pockets on back of both seats that can hold water bottles in 1 and toys or whatever else in the other.  My toddler already thinks its the coolest "toy" around.  Thanks again for the suggestions!

i have 2 children and most buggy's are safe for a newborn, sometimes you can get them with one seat that reclines and one that doesnt (which is what i have) its great as the shopping basket is under the non reclining seat so is big enough for a lot of stuff!!! also little basket under other seat!!!!! try to get a jogger with swivel wheels though as the non swivel wheels are a nightmare!!

We have an instep double jogger and I love it for running and trail walking, it reclines fine for a newborn. But its terrible for taking anywhere else, the front wheel doesn't turn so its hard to manuever, but I rarely put the kids in the stoller unless I am running or going for a trail walk, so it works great for us.

I LOVE LOVE my BOB double jogging stroller, initially we had a graco double stroller but my mom said it was too heavy for her to walk the kids in. We were looking into jogging strollers and I did a lot of research and found the BOB. It's expensive but worth every penny. My husband was very reluctant in paying that kind of money until I went and had him test drive it ( he love it too)...it's easy to manuever, fits through almost every door and it's not too heavy. The con's are the storage basket underneath. Not loving it. But I bought a double stroller diaper bag and it works. Good luck.

we have the tandum saftey 1st stroller and i hate it, it is not easy to manuver, and is really heavy, i only use it when absolutly neccesary which is almost never but it did come in handy in the beginning when our younger daughter was a NB, and our older one was not walking yet
