How do I get My 2-year-old to go to sleep at night without a sippy cup?

I am day potty training now (which is going pretty good except for the pooping), and as soon as we have it down I'd like to night potty train, but I know it's not going to be successful while my 2 year old still has to have one (sometimes 2) full sippies to go to sleep. It's her only sleep method besides a stuffed animal and a blanket. Any advice?

You may have already tried this but , what i did with my daughter is i dont fill the cup. I start with it 1/3rd full if she asks for more i do another 1/3rd. If you want to completely get rid of it just reduce the amount you put in each time. In 1 month i was able to get my daughter down from 4 sippies a night to 1/3rd of water only at bedtime and she does not wake up for another until morning !

what does she drink before bed?

my daughter does the same thing, I used to give her milk, but I just started switching it to water and she doesnt seem to drink as much if any at all being she is not a huge fan of water... its worked pretty good for me so far.. I didnt want to battle her by just taking her sippy cup away at night right away... We are also starting to encourage her to use a regular cup during the day, that way eventually it wont be such a shock to her when we do take her sippy cups away for good...
