If you are inviting 10-12 kids, make sure you have some helping hands that can constantly keep an eye on all of them. Kids below 3 need a strict supervision so that they don’t swallow anything or harm themselves in any other way. Also, the games you have decided wont be enjoyed by them as they are too young for this. Instead make a play are by using your child’s toy and renting some more. This way, they will have their own share of fun.

We are having my sons birthday at the park. We'll just have cake & ice cream & the kids can play on the play ground.

I'm having a dinosaur party for my little boy when he is two. Going to have a dinosaur hunt, bubble game, freeze dance game and maybe stick the tail on the dinosaur thats all really. Plus all little ones will get a dinosaur treat bag when they leave. Gonna keep it pretty simple :)

i was VERY DISSAPOINTED @ my daughter's 1st birthday party hardly anyone showed up there were only 3 kids there INCLUDING MY DAUGHTER IN THAT 3.



& everyone knew about her party 2 weeks or more bout when i was having it & everything.

My daughter is turning 2 the end of June and because of plans around her birthday we have decided to have her birthday in the afternoon and then we leave for vacation that evening. We had big plans to invite her daycare classmates and the family and friends but because we will be pressed for time I've decided just to keep it family and close friends. Even at that there will be around 10-15 kids. Most of the kids are under 5 and we are planning on getting a bouncy and just having it in the backyard. She got a playground set for her birthday (early of course) so with that and the bouncy that should keep the kids occupied for a few hours to celebrate.

I think free play would be best. I know that my 2 yr old son doesnt seem interested in structured activies cause he'd rather be doing what he wants not what i tell him to play.

My little girl will be 2 June 9th and we are planning on Renting out the Jungle Gym room( leisure fitness Center) for the kids to run around in and play...couple of my Girlfriends and I rented out the room before for Spring break and the kids had an awesome time..the Room is big enough to hold 25 kids+, second area for Party/cake, the cost was very reasonable 130.00 which included 2hours of playtime for the kids.

My daughter is turning two at the end of June and we are going with a Spongebob theme. I know she's a girl but she is absolutely in love with Spongebob. I'd reccommend keeping a close eye on what tv-shows she REALLY enjoys (not that you probably don't already do so) or what toys of her's she is facinated with and go from there. I already have the decorations for my daughter's party and the cake picked out. All of which are spongebob, we're going to be getting light blue, light green, and yellow balloons as well to keep with the color. Since this one is more for the kids (and every birthday from here on out) I figured planning on doing a theme based on something she really loves would be wonderful.

I'm going to have a bounce house, little pool & some games for my sons birthday next month since he has cousins & other family that range up to 10, I need something for everyone to have fun. but of course the little things make them happy. I'm sure whatever you decided she will enjoy it.

My son will turn 2 on 5th June...planned a small party for the following week, 3 days before my c-sec, but now the date isnt convenient for anyone...so just having his grandparents over for cake! Not going to stress over a day he wont really remember!

my brother rented a jump house for his sons second birthday. granted there were kids from 1 year to 6 years old... everyone enjpyed it! my nephews theme was spongebob and they played a lot of games including pin the tie on spongebob..

I have the same perspective as Irene, we gave Zeke a big first birthday and he did not enjoy it at all. I am 6 months pregnant and all my friends advised me not to have a party this year, so like Irene I am sending cake and party bags to his daycare and on the Saturday (12.06) we are taking his godparents, cousins and a few good friends out for lunch. I am planning on wearing a party hat the whole day and decorate the house so that he knows it is his special day. Wishing all your little ones a very blessed birthday when that day arrives.

A friend gave me some good advice. My head was also spinning on the the second birthday party thing. She told me to leave the big parties at such a young age, because they won't remember it and will only see it on pictures when they are bigger. They will also appreciate it more when they are bigger.
I'm only going to send some cake and candy to the school for the kids in his class, because his birthday falls on a wednesday. And on the saturday we will spend some time with some of his cousins by a restaurant that has a indoor playground, because it is winter now and will be cold.

i was going to buy a bounce house but that stupid bill me later didnt work for us & we tried with everyones names & stuff but nope so we have a pool 12' by 3" & we going to just do a pool party. Pinyata with candy & do pizza chips juice & sodas & of course cake & icecream

I agree with Serene they really don't remember at all their younger birthday's with my first two girls I went all out but with the last two I decided to tone it down abit, Teddies picnic sounds great, balloons, bubble blowing, fairy bread and cake that's what its all about at that age and a bit of Wiggles music in the back ground to dance to, All the best my little one turns two on 17th of June but its winter here so no paddle pool at her party.

I think that you should have it in your back yard with a paddling pool, ball pit and slide and have the teddy bear picnic.

I had my sons 2nd birthday already because I am due with his sister in 3 weeks. I had his birthday at the park and he loved it. He and his cousins played on the slide and swing set. His 1st birthday was held at the park also.

I wouldn't make it a big deal about there birthdays right now they will have plenty more and our little ones wont even remember them but through pictures... Good luck...

I'd go with free play, that's what I'm doing for my daughters 2nd birthday as well only because there will be kids 1-10 years of age there. We do have a pinata and face paint, that's about the only organized play planned.

free play is a grate ider how about making it a themed party that will mk it a lil more intresting for the kids.
