Anyone Feeding Gerber Graduates Puffs?

Yah my baby just got his to teeth and he's seven months just like my first son I didn't give them a whole puff at first I would give him pieces of it then gratuitously.i Gave him a whole one I did this because I wanted to make sure he new how to mash food and he could of choked and it worked an thats what I am doing with my baby now I first started to give him it last week an now he is able to have a big piece and so far so good. I asked the doctor before he had his teeth if he could have the puffs an she said yah. so the answer to your question is yes your baby can have them they melt in your mouth I know this because I try every food before my child eats it

I just bought my LO the banana puffs, but I always watch her eat them. I gave her one, and saw something silver in her mouth, and it was aluminum foil. I called Gerber and they want me to send in the puffs for investigation. o_O

I give them to my son, but I don't know if he really likes them yet. I put them on his tray, but he plays with them. You can always try & see if he likes it.

My son is 7 months I give him the puffs he loves them..Only a couple so he wont choke.. Cheerios dont melt away the mum mum cracks are awsome too his other fav!!!!

my daughter is also 7 months and she has 2 teeth I give her one at a time and watch her because she really likes them but she's choked before so I'm really careful.

My LO eats the puffs and the Mum Mums. I just break the mum mums in half, give it to her gum it! She likes big pieces better than little ones.

Been giving them to my daughter. She loves them and has never choked on them. It is a lot of work for her to get them in her mouth but it keeps her happy and occupied:) The dissolve so fast so it is hard for them to choke and hurt themselves with them. The package says 12 months I think just to make sure no one can sue if by chance a younger baby did choke.
Just a side note... I know at least 2 mom's who have had babies choke on the big baby crackers that are intended for babies this age. All you can really do is make sure you stay with baby whenever you give them something to eat to make sure they don't swallow a piece that is too big:)

I havn't tried the puffs, but my daughter goes nuts for the Baby Mum Mum's!!!! She's getting really good at eating them herself, she only needs a little bit of help from Mummy!

I have to agree with u tho Julia, why spend that much money on the puffs when Cheerios will work just as well?! lol

I give them as well. But the pediatrician said...why spend money on those expensive puffs when you could just give cheerios. So we just give a small handfull of cheerios after she eats on her highchair tray. It'll keep her busy while I clean up after her meal. They take a little longer to dissolve, but we haven't had any problems.

My 7 month old son loves them we are giving him a few at a time on his highchair tray he likes the peach ones. He tried to stick his hand in the container and pour them out so we have to keep it far away from him, he hasnt gaged on them at all. i am gonna try some others too.

Yup, I give him a couple on his tray and let him work on getting those in his mouth - those little suckers can be tricky!! I give him about 10 total. We use the banana and the sweet potato puffs and he likes them both!

Yes we are using them. Along with Baby Mum Mum's. My 7 1/2mth old son loves them and so far even with him shovelling them in he hasn't even gagged on them.

I have been giving them for about a month and trying to show her how to use her thumb and forefinger to pick them up...they are a great training tool for that. She lovvvveeesss the banana ones.

Hi, my baby is 7 1/2 months and I gave them to her about 2 weeks ago. She projectiled I think due to the texture! I only give her a few at a time and she's doing better. Once she does a bit better with texture I'll give her a few more at a time..now most end up on her lap! It's a great way for them to learn how to pick things up and for coordination.

I have some funny pics of my son eating these on my facebook page. He is 7mo and 1 week old and I give him 5-8 on his highchair tray. It is amazing how they learn to pick them up between their thumb and first finger and put them to their mouth. Most go into his lap or stuck on his hands and arms. A few go in, but he is really learning how to use his hands.

Yes. My sons tends to try and shove the entire puff into his mouth at once. I started cutting them up so that they are bite size. We also use the graduate stars and the yogurt melts. All of these are great with the teething.

I am giving them to my daughter who turned 7 months old on the 14th. She loves them!!!! She gagged once or twice but that is part of the learning curve. I just give her a hand full and let her go for it :).

Hi, Mine turned 7 monthes on the 5th and I give her 5-6 puffs most of them end up on the floor!! But she dos get 1-2 in her mouth and does fine.
