well yall i had to start closing my daughter's bedroom door b/c she would climb the baby gate & get out her room. so i started closing her door Sunday night. she cried a few minutes & went to sleep.

i left her closet light on & shut her door & put one of those safety door things on the inside so she couldn't open the door.

Monday - Tuesday i felt bad b/c her sorry ass daddy wouldn't answer the phone when she wanted to call him & talk. i even text him but still dumbass wouldn't answer the phone.

so she slept with me b/c i felt bad bout that hey you would too when your child holds the cell talking bout daddy & then on Tuesday she had my cell saying talk daddy & i had to tell her baby daddy wont answer the phone when you call him im sorry i know you wanna talk to your daddy but he wont answer & she said daddy mean daddy mala (mean in spanish)

but Tuesday - Wednesday i made her go to her room b/c she's not going to be sleeping with me no mam she has her own room.

ima get her a cute lamp for her birthday (next week). so i wont have to turn her closet light on every night.

but putting the safety door knob thing on the inside of there door does work.

Thanks Crystal.

she does have a glow worm that you press & the head glows & plays music she loves it i may try that.

also now she dont get out her bed like before. she stayed in bed & this time i let her keep her water. i just hope she dont wet the bed since shes in big girl underwear now.

I use the crib toy, its a swinging monkey with a waterfall and fish, she loves this because it glows blue, and it stays on for about 10 minutes. I also close her door at bedtime, and she now doesnt even crawl out of bed and follow me anymore. I just lay her down with a sippy cup of water, turn on the monkey thing, and tell her goodnight and kiss her and leave. I close the door and turn the hall lights off. This works great for us too. Honestly, if daddy doesn't wanna talk, I just ignore it, and distract her with other people that will talk to her, like gramma or grampa, or aunts or friends. This works for Jade, she likes to talk to her papa. So when daddy is at work, we call papa. I hope this helps. Good Luck!!

Melissa i'm so glad to hear that you are doing it. That is great... Seems like it is working out and it may take time and yeah you may feel bad about it but, it does work. I use them all over the house. LOl even lock the refrigerator door. My son likes to pull everything off of the shelves. If typing looks crazy i'm sleep deprieved. LOL
