my son goes to bed every night at 7pm and has done from 9mths old and is up between 6.30 and 7am the next day. It will depend how much sleep your child needs and adjusting accordingly :)

I think she should be in bed at 8, this gives you plenty of time to get everything done before you put her in bed and she stills gets at least 10 hours of sleep even if she doesn't fall asleep right away.

Wow, school already? That is way early. What do they teach there that you cannot teach at home? I just think it's so interesting how society today pushes kids younger and younger to be independant. So sad. We homeschool our 4 kids and have for many years now. Keeps them pure and innocent. Don't want the social skills taught by other defiant children lacking in discipline. Watch out.....soon she will be 15 with a cell phone and ......wow. See the big picture.

how old is your child?

my daughter is 3 and has to be up by 7/715 as well. if she naps, her bedtime is around 745/8pm. if she doesn't nap, her bedtime is around 7/730pm.

i don't put my dd down later than 8pm otherwise her night sleep will be too short. most toddlers 3 and up need at least 10hrs of night sleep. if they get 10hrs at night, some need a nap mid-day. if no nap, they need more night sleep so they're not tired during the day at school.
