My baby Boy, whom was born in June 2008, is getting his 3rd and 4th teeth now, but they are coming in very slowly. It seems like everyone else's babies have many more teeth then my little guy. I know all babies are different but im finding myself to be a little concerned. He has been having pain from teething since he was about 4 months old. Do I have anything to be concerned about?

My son was born on June 25, 2008 and has no teeth yet. I can actually see that the upper might be coming in soon and most likely before the bottom ones. For some reason I thought the bottom ones come in first. In looking at my six year old daughter's baby pictures, I can see that she had two on the bottom and one on the top by this time. All babies are different. :-)

My son was born June 24th, 2008. He has his top two teeth and both bottom two teeth. I see now that the tooth next to it breaking through. Five teeth!!! He can be cranky at times. Your baby will be just fine whenever those teeth decide they want to come. Sit back and relax

My son only has his two front bottom teeth and he has been teething since he was about 3 months old.  They just have to come in at their own pace.

no worries...where as my 9month old has her first four the whole way through, my godson who is a year and a half also only has four, and my friends kid who is a year and a half has a ridiculous amount of teeth already....all children are different. most doctors try and put all babies on a time schedule, but in all actuallity ...all babies are different....he will be fine...and soon they will all pop through and then they start to bite...YOU! ahhah

My son is, born june 10th, doesn't have any teeth yet, but at his 9 month check up the doc said she felt the two bottom ones and at least one top one coming in, I thought he'd never get his teeth in! When their ready they'll come!

Don't be concerned! My little guy is just getting his first tooth. It just started coming through. My 7 year old was the same way. I am a dental assistant and can tell you that there is no "normal." You have nothing to worry about!

My son has 4 teeth & the 5th just opened the gums - but he's the fastest teether so far out of my 3 kids. My 2nd daughter took about 6 months to break a tooth - it was terrible having her in pain for so long, but she was just a slow teether. They all have their different schedules. Don't worry about your little guy - he's doing just fine. :)

My baby Bo has 5 teeth, two at the bottom and 3 top. she has been having trouble with teeth from about 4 months old and cut the first two (bottom) at 5 months, the last three cut through at once about a month ago!

nothing wrong with the amount of teeth babies have at this point, some babies only cut teeth at 11 months. All babies are different and grow at their own pace. My brother son is almost 2 and only has 6 teeth.

My Son still has only got his 2 bottom middle teeth & it doesn't look like there are any more on the way just yet. My eldest son who's now 8 was late getting his teeth too & as to date has only lost 2 of his baby teeth (well behind his school friends). But I say the later the teeth come up the less time they have to rot & the longer they can keep their baby teeth they can't rot their adult teeth!

My daughter was born June 12th and still doesn't have any teeth. She's been teething though and I feel a small bump on her bottom gum that I think is the first tooth that will come through.

My son is 9 months and he has just now gotten his 1st tooth (although he has been actively teething for 3 months). Our son's Dr. told us that kids just get their teeth at their own rate...nothing to worry about. I have to admit though, I was concerned on one hand and relieved on the other as I am still breastfeeding him!

My son was born at june 13th, and now is getting his 3rd and 4th like your son. He has his 1st teeth at 4 month old and 2nd teeth at 5 month. I think you have not to worry about that, because every child his own development and it is very normal, they will come when the time is come.

I have twin boys and Owen has 4 and almost 2 more.  He has the bottom 2 and the top front left and the one to the one to the left of that.  The other front right and next to that are all puffy so those should be in soon.  I hope so because everday he is in so much pain no matter what I do.  Ethan has none and no sign of any...no ridges or puffy gums.

We're working on the 3rd and 4th now. I have a friend with a 1 year old who has none. My little one hasn't been in constant pain but the first ones came in December and now we've been going through this phase for about 3 weeks. I wouldn't be concerned. A little Tylenol now and then has helped us.

My son (9 months on the 19th) got 2 bottom teeth at 4 months, and just recently got 4 in on top. He had 3 come in all at the same time on top and we had a very stressful 7 day nursing strike. But it's all good now...until the next one comes!

ZERO teeth here, but her Ped noticed the two little lumps forming under her gums in February. My firstborn never reacted to teething, but this time, my 2nd (6.11.08) is a little Cranky Pants! Night wakings, fussiness--you name it, she's got it! But I sure am enjoying those toothless grins! Sounds like your baby is way ahead of schedule, and I have heard of babies who started teething at 4 months; although, have never met any. Naturally, consult your ped with any health concerns.

No...my daughter only has her bottom 2 front teeth. Every baby is different. Try massaging his gums and have him eat those little teethers biscuits. He may just have tougher gums than usual and it takes a little longer for them to come in. Don't worry unless they get really red and painful.
