How Much Formula should my 8 month old be drinking daily?

A rough estimate would be a minimum 2oz for every 1 lb of baby's body weight, but again it also depends on how much other food/juices/water does the baby consume. You can probably check with your pedi too, what's right for your munchkin.

My daughter has 3- 8oz a day as well as 3-4 jars of baby food.  Up until last month she had a 4th bottle but that one dropped. We don't do any juice or other liquids.  She is about 21 -22lbs.  She started eating more baby food when she dropped the additional bottle.

Quoting Cheryl:

My baby's doctor said that from ages 6 to 12 months it must stay within 24 to 32 ounces of formula daily!!!

Holy crap! that seems like alot of formula! My son is eating Breakfast, lunch and dinner....well i guess that doesnt sound like that much now that im thinking of how many bottles he has....usually one at 5 am then one before his afternoon nap, and one right before bed which he rarely finishes and they are 8 ounce bottles

Thank You that really helps, she has a well visit next week but i just wanted a rough idea, she eats a 6 oz in the am then bfast(made w/ 2oz for cereal) then a 4oz bottle for snack then lunch ( made w/ 2oz) then another 6 oz, then dinner (no formula) then another 6oz. she only weighs about 18lbs so I think she is ok, Thaks for your help!

my son is on 3 bottles of 6oz formula a day, 2 4oz bottles of juice and his breakfast lunch and dinner( weetabix, sandwiches and tins of dinner/pudding)

It really depends on how hungry your child is i think, sometimes mine doesnt drink the full bottle would rather have a snack like a rusk or summit.
