Hello members of June 2008 babies, my name is Shannon Underwood, and I have taken over the role as administrator of this group!! I hope, as a group, we can continue great discussions together. For me, as a mother of an almost one year old, logging into Circle of Moms, to read the latest discussion posts has helped me to learn about myself as well as my toddler.

As I am the new administrator, I am looking for feedback and suggestions to keep this group running smoothly. Any and all e-mails are welcome.

I only have two rules as new administrator;

1. Abusive/inappropriate discussions/replies will be deleted. (This is a place for mothers to enjoy the company of others- those who do not comply will have their message deleted and if problem persists will be spoken to or removed from June 2008 babies.)

2. Any and all forms of discrimination or racism will not be tolerated. Zero warnings.

Again, please, if you have any suggestions or would like to get in contact with me, add me to your circle of moms or send me a private message. I cannot wait to get to know all you beautiful mommies!

yes, she is almost two and she is doing great, has started repeating words clearly, identifing things and love singings.

great to meet u but shouldnt your todler be almost two if their birthday is in june 2008??

Congrats Shannon for taking on the role. Good on you as we all know time is scarce. Hopefully all of us Mums will get some good advice about our children on here. Sounds like lotsa fun.

Sheridan- It really is great to have an open-book of advice isn't it? I love this group for that exact reason.. we all have children in the same age range, and it's great to REALLY be able to feel what others are feeling and have them REALLY feel what you are feeling.

I am a first time mom, and some of this advice has been a god-send. I remember, my son, went from sleeping all night, to having a few months straight of literally NO sleep. Other moms were noticing the same thing around the same time-- we all collected our ideas-- teething, growing pains, milestones.. And it was wonderful to hear everyone's thoughts.

As for everyone else who has replied to my message- welcome and thankyou for responding.

I've noticed that some of you have added me to your circle of mom's-- Silly me thought that if you added me it would automatically add you to mine... This isn't the case. So, if any of you have added me and have noticed this, send me a quick message, because I'd love to have you in my circle as well..

I hope everyone is having a great start to their weekend! I've just had a rough week (friend passed away on the 17th, funeral was yesterday). I'm emotionally exhausted but so happy to be back home with my hubby to grieve, relax, and maybe enjoy a glass (or two) of vino! :)

This is a very cool idea..it will be good to be able to talk with people that have a child, or children born around the same time. My little guy was actually born 15 weeks early, so the fact that we celebrated his birthday this past weekend was amazing for me. Thank you so much for the add!
