Hey,
My son started potty training himself at 18 months and now at 21 months is almost ready for big kid unerwear. The problem that I have is that he is really skinny and the smallest underwear I can find is size 2T even his 18mos pants are too big around the waist most of the time. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to find smaller ones?

We had the same problem.even gerber 18 moth undes were huge. For cloth training pants try fashionably green baby!! We ordered her AI2 pull ups in a small for our 17lb 18 mo old........she wore them for 10 months before she finally figured out they weren't really big girl undies........so for undies look up mothergoosedesigns........she custom makes undies.....expensive, but i figure with the money we saved with cloth diapers and cloth pullups, we could swing it!

I was unable to find smaller underwear for my daughter as well. She is small and wears mostly 12-18 month size clothing. I bought the 2-3T underwear anyways. She has been wearing them since February. They are a little on the "big size". (My 3 year old wears the same size underwear 2-3T.) I was suprised that they stay up fine. She loves her elmo underwear and they are much less bulky than a diaper.

gerber trainer underwear are also at walmart and target... I had the same problem but they fit well.

my daughter is toilet training at the moment (her choice) and the normal underwear is too big for her but i have found that Swimwear bottoms fit perfectly...

I ended up making some I found a pattern on etsy. If you can sew and make them just make the girls undies from the pattern they are quicker to make.

i just fold the waist band ova it makes the crotch and the waist band smaller so they dont fall down

Babies-R-Us has some online that are 18 months that are made by gerber(I think) they are 100% cotton and thick...I washed my sons in hot water and ran the dryer on high and they shrunk up to a little bigger than 12 months but still WAY smaller than the 18. I hope this helps!

Hi you can buy small girls pants 12-18 month from adsa (george). So I assume that they sell boys pants in the same size......

My little boy (2 in June) has no hips or bottom to fit anything either! I have been putting cloth dymples brand training pants on him. Though he is not an expert at toileting yet! Also what if you got someone to make some for him? Then he could pick the material too!

They are expensive but it will fit.
Also buy the 2t and sew both sides to fit the waist.

My sister in law came up with a idea you could always buy the cotton pull overs for cloth diapering they come in all sizes and they would be as comfortable as underwear!!!

I honestly don't think underwear goes smaller than size 2 I have never seen anything smaller. You could always just let him go commando until he fits size 2....
