Introducing Cow's Milk...

I've been giving mine vanilla hemp milk and he loves it. He also liked vanilla rice milk. maybe try spicing it up with a little vanilla?

hey there is time......I guess I am just not rushing my son too much. I think one adjustment at a time. And I don't want to rush him into growing up!!! But thats just me... And I am glad to hear that things are going good!!

Hey! Yes, It's working out very well. She is now almost totally on cow's milk. Just another oz to go. Thanks so much for your advice. It's working well. Now, I have to get her more into the sippy cup and away from the bottle, lol.

I'm with a pp and not putting milk in a bottle. He knows bottles are formula and I can see him having a problem if it were all of a sudden milk. We gave him milk for the first time last night in his sippy cup and he loved it. Straight milk, cold from the fridge. So, it's like it's something new to him, not a change in his bottles.

Im mixing half and half. I think she can still tell the difference but she is drinking almost all of her milk.

My son has been drinking whole milk since last week. I gave it to him a little warm, b/c he doens't like anything cold. I gave it to him in his sippy too, since I'm trying to wean him from the bottle. That way, he could control when he drank it and how much he wanted. The first few days, he spit most of it out and threw down his cup, but now he's drinking about 2-3 ounces with each meal. I'm happy with that, so far. He had a really hard time swithing from breat milk to formula last month though. I'd just give her some time to adjust to the taste. She probably wants what she's familiar with. Good luck!

My son's bday is on the 20th. He drinks four 6oz bottles a day of Enfamil Gentlease. Just this week i started adding 2oz of milk to 4oz of formula with each feeding. He hasn't noticed. This weekend i'm going to do 4oz milk with 2oz formula, and then by the time it's his bday, hopefully we'll be on 6oz milk! I know i'm taking it slow, but since he was on the gentlease, i wasn't sure how his body would react to the milk. And same here, every time i heat the bottle, i do it a little less, to get him used to the cold milk. So far, so good! Good Luck!

umm start in the morning and try an ounce and see how she does and than maybe 1/2 an ounce in her lunch bottle...its worth a try...Cows milk was too cold at first for Parker so i warmed it a little and than little by little i warmed it less and less and now hes straight outta the fridge

Would that taste good? lol I was actually thinking about doing something like that. I also think the Cow's milk is too cold for her. She's taking 4-5 oz of formula with meals then 8 oz in the morning and before bed, how much formula should I put in? lol.

What I did with my son is I started out with one ounce in his bottle and the rest formula, I did that for a couple days than went to 2 ounces the rest formula than I continued on like that till he was on total cows milk and now he can't seem to get enough he loves it soo much
