Kids know when they arn't hungry. My two year old b/g twins vary from night to night how much they will eat. You can't force a child to eat when they are no longer hungry. Just try and gage from her cues as to how much she eats, and how much she leaves on her plate. Then once you determine that just give her as much as she ate the night before and see what happens.

My son is like Ivana's son, but it varies from day to day. Kids wont starve and they are designed to be grazers and not eat 3 meals aday like we are led to beleive. I try not to get too stressed about it, they are not going to starve

my daughter hardly ever eats all her food. in fact a good amount of time i have to bribe her with pickles to eat her dinner... but when she does choose to eat, she eats well...

you're not alone. My daughter doesn't eat all her lunch and dinner. We try to get her to eat but she just doesn't want a bar of it!! We were told not to push them...when they are hungry they will ask for food which my daughter does. I try to give her healthy snacks throughout the day just so i know she is eating something but i also am not a fan of her not eating all her dinner....we used to fight at the dinner table and i used to pull my hair out!!! now i just let her be. when she's hungry she just askes me for food which i then offer what i have...up to her if she wants it but most times she takes it because she is hungry

My daughter is 2 1/2 and she never eats her whole dinner. To ensure that she is full I top her up with fruits and milk. I try not to give here too much treats just healthy things. Also I tell her what I have and ask which one she wants. It does fustrate me sometimes when she does not eat. My daughter is 31lbs.
