My twin girls are so completely different. Hannah has been crawling since 6 months and is now walking at 10 months. Paige is still sitting and is trying to pull herself up and has begun bum scooting to get where she wants to go. She probably will not crawl. Crawling is actually not a mile stone and some kids just won't crawl. If your daugther is reaching mile stones and is on track with other areas of development I would not be concerned. Having two very different little girls that are the exact same age keeps things in perspective that all kids are not the same and all kids will do things in their own time their own way.

My daughter had her 10 month checkup last Friday and doc asked if she was crawling yet - said no. He didn't seem like it was an issue. Then she started crawling - slowly about 3 days ago. Don't worry - it will happen when she's ready!

My daughter will be 10 months old in a couple of days and she has been rolling all over the place for about 2 months now. She had be getting up on her hands and knees but was unable to coordinate them to move together and she would just fall on her belly and roll instead. Four days ago she figured it out. She doesn't crawl very far right now though. I guess she just has to build up her strength. She also has just started to pull up. Our now 3 yr. old son never did crawl. He did the army drag then went straight to walking. Your little girl will surprise you one day and out of the blue you will turn around and wonder where she disappeared to.

Just jumped on here today to see if any other June babies aren't crawling yet. Mine will dive for stuff, but then she rolls to get there... she hated hated being on her tummy and she's a chunk..so that's working against her.

My son was 10m on the 18th and he's not walking yet either. I'm glad it sounds normal because I was bit worried.
He wants to be on his feet all the time (holding my hands) but isn't even interested in trying to pull himself up. Sometimes he wont even sit down and goes ridgid. He loves being on his feet.

Count your lucky stars! LOL My little man has been crawling since he was 7 months old and I'm EXHAUSTED at the end of the day. He's all over the place and is mastered cruising! I'm so not ready for him to be walking...even though I encourage him to take steps. :-)

When we place him in his walker he goes backwards haha, but when we hold him under his arms then he will make steps , some days he goes so fast that it looks like he is running :o)

My little girl is 10 months on 22nd. She doesn't crawl. she does a kind of bum shuffle! with one knee in the air. I wouldn't worry as they all get there in the end. Freya seems to go mostly backwards at the moment. She finds it so frustrating as she ends up further away from what she wants!! lol

My twins will be 10 months old on the 16th. My son has been crawling for 2 months, but my daughter still is not crawling. My Dr. also told me that crawling is not a milestone, so not to worry about it. It's funny to see even in my twins what a difference there is in development!

My son will be 10 months in a few days and is a big boy. :) He can army crawl good, and only now is occasionally doing a real crawl. The doc told me it will take my son more time because he is a bigger boy. All kids do things when they are ready, and some totally skip crawling right to walking! Your little girl is a cutie!

my daughter loved tummy time... she refused to be on her back anymore at 3 months so she crawled early... my friends baby who is two weeks younger is just sitting up but not crawling yet... my thoughts on him is he hated tummy time and still does and he is a little bit bigger then my daughter so he has to pick up more and use more muscles.... my doc said the more tummy time the faster they will crawl...
you can put a pillow just under the belly to encourage it more... also once they can get up on all 4's but dont want to crawl put an object right in front of them and just pick up one hand so they are on just 3 and show them that they can reach while just being on 3 limbs ... that will eventually build up even more strength and soon after they will crawl... good luck...

My daughter isn't crawling either. My friend made a good point...she's too curious about everything around her and more worried about how fast she can get them, then learning to crawl to get them! She'll scoot and roll to get to whatever it is she has her eyes on! I'm not too worried...as I'll be in trouble once she does start to crawl!

neither is my little girl....i just had her 10 month maternal health appointment and i asked the nurse about it and she said it's nothing to worry about. It's not a milestone they are looking for...as long as you notice your little girl moving and becoming more mobile it doesn't matter whether or not she's crawling. She may even skip the crawling stage and go straight into the walking. Don't stress...it will happen in her own good time....i'm not stressing!!!! :)
