Our baby just doesnt look at us wen we speak even if we raise our voice and yell out his name he will just keep doing what every he is doing.
He will only look at us if we have some thing he wants or if we sing his favourite songs, he can hear well we have tested his hearing but just will not pay attention when we try and talk to him.
He is really smart other wise but is still not talking much he can say banana the name of his fav show or papa when his hungry this means food and he says kaka when his done a poo but thats it he used 2 say mama and dada and also his name but then he stopped.
Is anybody elses baby like this????

Ha, Devynne is exactly the same "selective hearing" ... She has perfect hearing as well but gets very involved in whatever she is doing and is hard to distract... unless of course you have a better offer like a "cookie" LOL

She has a high level of understanding and fine motor skills but her language skill are limited... I am not all that worried though as I am sure once she starts she is not going to stop talking...

I won't stress too much, you have done the right thing by making sure his hearing isn't impaired, keep encouraging with repetition and soon you will be asking him to keep it down.

My daughter does that too, he is just ignoring you. If he knows you are gonna tell him no, he just doenst wanna listen. I really think he is just testing you guys. I think its probably just the age and not to worry unless it continues when he gets older.
