the best present I bought my daughter when she turned 1, was a big..red...ball..with 2 openings on each side (air-filled)big enough to hold 100 lbs. You know those big human balls you can get in and walk in to make it roll around? it almost looks like a giant hampster ball, but it doesnt have doors...so she can't suffocate or anything. i got it at big lots for like 30 bucks! it says for ages 4 and up, but with supervision ,your child would have an absolute blast in it!!!

I put $120.00 in her savings account. That is ten dollars for every month of the year. Then for christmas I put in $50.00, Valentines day and Easter I put in $10.00 (those are holidays we celebrate more due to family things)

We had no idea what to buy our baby girl at first. i didn't want toys or clothes cuz she would grow out of it too fast. so we decided to buy her her first pet... a fish. it will live for about 5 years or longer. plus she loves to watch him swiming around.

I have a boy, but babies are pretty universal. I pay attention to what his absolute favorite things to do are, and it seems he likes to stack things. A LOT. every since he started running around he's been stacking toys on furniture and, of course, throwing them out windows. So i'm buying him those wooden blocks that are different shapes to build with and throw where he pleases. Also, since we're summer babies, I'm getting one of the baby pool/sprinkler deals, because he's all about baths and being outside, so combining the two should be happiness X ten. Nico is also obsessed with animals, they fascinate him. So I've been trying to get my boyfriend to be happy with the idea of a kitten or pupy, but that may not happen until his second or third birthday :)

onestepahead.com has some really cute products. I bought my son the lil pool splash pad. It fills up only a couple inches but attaches to the hose so that water squirts up all over, super cute and only $22. I also bought him a hooded cover up from that website and had it personalized with his name

My daughter will be 1 on June 5th... we bought her an "Artic Splash - Water Table", a baby sprinkler pool, a baby activity pool, a "Little People - Farm House", and some books. Other people have bought her a sandbox, a baby (ages 1 to 4) play structure, a bigger car seat, a patio set, and clothes. I hope these ideas were helpful, or that they helped you think of some other ideas!!! Happy early Birthday to your Daughter!!!
