My baby-girl is now almost 19 months. When is it a good time to switch to cow milk? Or do you think I should rather use a milk-formula for toddlers?

Our pediatrician had us put our daughter on whole milk around her first birthday, and then she can go down to 2% at her second birthday.
I know some people use the step 2 formula (12+ months) but usually unless your doctor recommends it, you have a picky eater, or your child doesn't eat much there is no real need/reason to formula feed past 12 months.
You can ask your pediatrician to be sure there is no reason not to swap over to milk, but usually they can make up for anything they are missing from formula with a regular diet, and if necessary daily vitamins.
It may not be an easy transition, some kids don't like change, but to be honest my daughter took to it immediately and wouldn't touch formula if I tried now!

i switched when my son was 12 months to full fat cows milk, he is 18 months old now!! its 1 less expence, my health visitor told me it was a waist of time.. you can make up the iron intake with your daughters diet!! =)
