Are any June babies walking yet?

Our son Seth took his first unassisted steps the day after he turned nine months old. To say I was SHOCKED is an understatement! I thought I'd have more time to watch him crawl around lol. He walks across whole rooms now and always amazes us at how much he can do.

Yea my daughter was born June 13th and she walking really good. Weird cuz she just started walking all of a sudden like she been walking all ready without me knowing! LOL! Who knows?

My baby was born June 9th, and she has been pulling up on things for about a month or two. She want to walk, but she just stands there hoping not to fall. And then she cries for you to pick her up. LOL!!

I bet he will, just keep him actively exercising walking etc. My son was born 13th June, he is also trying to stand without holding onto something. It is really amazing, can't wait for him to start making those little steps!!!!!!

My daughter was born on the 13th of june and she is walking along furniture and the walls. I think she will be walking soon.

funny story - My Son now 10 years old stood on his own for the first time in the bath.. he always had to hold on to something and this time was no different. (yet it was) he was holding onto his willy.

OMG - That is so scary - my daughter born 13 June only just started crawling - still on tummy not up on knees yet. She looks to little to walk yet. My Sisters baby girl was walking at 9 months though, My Boys did not start walking till 14 an 16 months. all my babies were premature though 2 at 33 weeks and 1 at 29 weeks, might have something to do with it.

My daughter was born on the 23rd of June. On the 24th of February she took her first steps. She will be 9 months soon and is already walking all over the place. She's always so proud of herself.

My daughter was born June 6th. A few weeks ago my husband an I were watching tv and she stood up in the middle of the floor and took 1 step. She can now take about 3 steps but I think she is realizing that crawling is much faster :)

he probably will start walking soon!! i know my little one (born june 7) is sooo close. she took one step unassisted then grabbed me.. should be any day now. she prefers walking (assisted) to crawling and is constantly climbing up on stuff. such an exciting time huh?

Its true yes they can start walking as old as 9 months but is better for the bone structure if they dont walk before they are one. My friends baby walked at 9 months and now has a lot of complications and is sore slot for her weak bones holding her up all the time.

My daughter was born 6-23-09 and has been walking for 3 weeks now! In a way i'm happy but i'm chasing her everywhere.. but I am still very Happy that she is an early learner! =)

my son was born june 8th he took 2 steps about a week ago but hasnt done much since he will walk along the furniture, holding ur hand or pants/leg. he pushes my daughters trolley around, i cant wait for him to start walking full time its so cute when they walk this early they are still very little.

My daughter chloe born 6-5-09 cant walk butif u hold her hands she'll walk with u and she will not crawl she was only 4lbs 12oz and I am wondering if that is that problem . does anyone have any ideals for me???

My Son was born June 6 09 and he also like to pull himself up and he will walk holding onto my hands but not on his own yet. My daughter didn't walk on her own until she was 13 months.

My son just started to do that today, he is 9 1/2 months..I hold my breath everytime I see him do that LOL..He will let go wobble a bit but stay on his feet then go back to holding onto whatever he was holding!! I want to run and catch him which I usually do but I might be holding him back :p...He is walking with a walker too..

I have heard the same thing....11-12 months. My other son, who is now 15, walked at exactly 9 months (born Feb.14 and took his 1st steps on Nov. 14) but that was pretty early. Since it has been 15 years since I had a baby I have forgotten so much! Thank you for your reply! I feel lost sometimes!

my son was born june 5 and he is taking steps on his own, not running around yet, but any day now. The doctor says he is an early walker. I think the avg is 12 months?

My Connor was born 6/15/09. He can pull himself up and stand as long as he is holding onto something. He walks (tiny little baby steps, of course) with one hand on the sofa. He can stand but once he realizes I have taken my hand off of him he sits down.

My son was born on June 15 and he does this too, and can stand for a few seconds by himself. He walks with push walker toys, or he holds on to whatever he can and walks along. It is exciting but yet scary that he is growing up too fast.

Cambria has been walking around the furniture since she was 7 months old and is now on her way to walking (she's 8 1/2 months). She can stand and take about 4 steps, stop, and take a few more but she still prefers to crawl because it's faster! Her confidence is building, though.

My daughter has been doing this for about a month! No walking yet, but every now and then i catch her standing without any support. I am hoping soon, but then again I miss the days where I didn't have to chase her everywhere! :)

My son was born June 15 2009, and he has been able to pull himself up to a stand and take a few steps from the sofa to the coffee table. He has also started to recently pull himself up and just stand in place for a little while. I also think walking is in his near future. Yikes!!!

'Soon' . . . maybe. My daughter's been standing without holding onto anything for two months and she was born in June 2009. She still hasn't walked. We think she's close because she can stand straight up without any support or help from a crouched position and stay there, and also walk if we hold her hands. But if he's still in the process of 'trying' to stand without support, he may not be ready for still another few months.



By the way, it's more than just 'possible' for babies to walk *before* 9 months. My fiance started walking, without ever learning to crawl, at the very end of his 6th, very beginning of his 7 month. There is documentation of quite a few babies doing this around the same age. It all depends on muscle strength and interest in practicing it at certain stages in development. My daughter stood up on her own with the help of a table for the first time at 5 months and started cruising at 6-7.

Madden was born June 29th and I believe he will soon walk. He stands on his own, takes a couple of steps while holding onto something with one hand. He can almost stand by himself for 45 sec. and already goes up a flight of stairs all by himself (of course I'm behind him).

Eden is almost walking! Took 5 steps on her own 2 days ago! Plus she is walking on her own between my husband and I! I got told by our mothers that I started walking at 10 months and my husband at 8 1/2 so i knew it was going to be soon!!! :)

Hunter was born on June 1st he tries to stand on his own but it's very short lived - but he can cruise around the house with the push walker and his pedal car - he can't pedal it but he can stand and push it while walking behind it. He also loves climbing the stairs so when he can finally walk - which I am excited - but there will be no stopping him,

My daughter was born June 11th and she stands and walks along the furniture...other moms and our pediatrician have said give her a month and she'll be walking....I feel like she didn't crawl for long...the only reason she crawls now is to get to somewhere where she wants to stand.

My son is just 8 months and he loves to stand and walk with support,he has never really crawled though. My daughter on the other hand who is just over 2 yrs at his age was walking no problem with no support or nothing,she was practically running around by 9 months.

My son Roanan will stand for a few seconds by himself and walks with help, I can't wait for him to start walking!
Both of my other boys were 9m when they started walking, my oldest girl was almost 9m, and my youngest girl was 7m!

Hey all! My daughter was born on June 9th.. she moves really quickly whilst holding on...she walks the length of the crib, the chair and the bay window in little to no time at all. She also started trying to stand without support last month and yesterday she insisted on holding my hand whilst she went stepping her merry way around my friend's living room. She had such a great big smile on her face whilst doing it. So I believe that she'll be walking freely very very soon.

My son was born on June 10th. He has been walking around furniture and with a push car for about 6 weeks. He stands up and sits down without holding onto anything. He has also taken a steps from couch to table a few times. Think he will be running around the house soon, although my daughter didn't walk until she was 16 months.

Christine can stand up on her own by grabbing on furniture shes pretty stable with that and just this week she starts to make a step around the table or by holding on to the caoch and she is 8 months and 1 week

hehe i was walking at 9 months same with my all my siblings, my daugte was 7 weeks premature and she was walking at 10 months perfectly. my son in 8 months now and will walk if you hold his hands but otherwise he just stands up on everything and when hetries to wlak without holding on he falls to his head =( but he will soon and then the cats got to watch out hehe :P

yes my son was born on the 17th june and he does the same.. he loves to stand on his legs.. he holds on to anything, sometimes forgets he can't walk but im sure it won't be too long..

My son was born June 14th and he's not walking yet. He crawls over to things and pulls himself up and he plays a balancing game. Once he stands up, he lets go to see how long he can stand up on his own without holding on.

My daughter was born 6/18/09 and she's walking all over the place!! She's been very early with all of her milestones. She's started pulling up about 6 weeks ago and then started walking on valentines day. Best gift ever!!!
