Im thinking about purchasing a play pen/ play yard and Im just not that sure if my daughter will use it- I let her just play on the floor on a blanket, But my husband thinks it will be good when she starts crawling/walking as a place to put her sometimes so she isnt moving all over the place 24/7
any thoughts??

We use ours for naps, for guests who stay overnight and for travel or visiting friends. We use it with the MamaDoo Kids mattress topper to make it comfortable. We love it as it folds in 3! BTW, they have a better price at their website than in amazon.

We got one for our baby shower and didn't think we'd use it for a while...boy were we wrong! My daughter hated her bassinet! So after two weeks of fighting with her about it and waking up all night we tried the pack n' play and finally! So she slept in it for about 2 1/2 mos then she slept with us for a while and now finally she has been in her crib for a good 2 mos! But I know we used it all the time but not so much right now but we dont travel much and we don't stay at grandmas too often but I am sure the time will come when we can unpack it again...

Honestly I barely use mine. Perhaps when she gets a little older and I want to keep her in one place I will use it more. For now I'm happy that I got a good deal at a garage sale and didn't buy one new.

Definately purchase one. There will come a time where you need to put little one down somewhere safe while you go do something.

My son is 5 months and I put him in it with some of his toys, he loves it he just rolls around grabbing everything
