My daughter will be 9 months on the 11th and she STILL does not have any teeth cutting through at all. We thought she was teething super young because she all the sudden went through this insane drooling stage and then just stopped. I had a ton of friends that had babies after I my daughter who already have teeth!! Is this normal? I know all babies are different but I need peace of mind that she isn't behind!

Hi - my little girl is 10 months and has just had her 8th tooth come through! my other girl was very similar - had 8 teeth by the time she was 11 months. All babies are different so I wouldn't worry too much.

My son started to teeth at 3 months then finnally got teeth when he was 6 months and now his is 10 months old and has 8 of them. =)

She's fine they are all differant! My son is 9 months but got his first 2 teeth at 6 months and now the top 2 are coming! But I know babies that didnt get their fist tooth till a yr old and i also have a neice that had all of her teeth at 14-16 months. So dont worry!

first two were 11 months before they had teeth, third was 8 months. Fourth is nearly 10 months and still no teeth. Don't worry about it, at least it hurts less when they bite you!!LOL

All babies are different, mine have teeth and their 10 months old, enjoy the fact no teeth yet! lol lol Seriously don't worry about it, her teeth will come when their ready!

My son Trevor was born on the 17th of june and he has 4 teeth already. His first one didnt come in until he was 8 months old and the doctor told us before that some babies may not get teeth until their first birthday. Keep watching for them though.

my daughter was 8 months with 8 teeth shes 9 months now and looks like shes getting back teeth she teethed only one day threw out all her teeth

My lil one is about to be 10 months and has 8 teeth.. Got her first 2 at 3 months.. But my son didnt get his first tooth til 6 or 7 months.. All babies are different..

My baby is almost 10 months old and has 2 teeth already. She is still cutting teeth in. My baby was cutting teeth starting at one month old so I don't know if that is normal either lol. Hopefully she gets her teeth in soon.

don´t be worried, every baby needs time. Anyway my doctor said: better when they come in later cause there will be stronger and pretty. my baby have 4 teeth at his 9 months, but my dauther (8 years old today) hadn´t any tooth and she has a pretty teeth and so strong.

Its very normal, my daughter got her 1st at 6 months, now she has 5! Once the first comes thru they seem to come real quick. Dont worry some babies cut them a little later than others, they all different x

My son is 9 1/2 months, no teeth yet. He started the constant drooling at 3 months. (This is when their salivary glands are becoming active.) Teething varies. I am hoping the whole experience is short and the teeth just come in like popcorn. lol

Hi Elisa, I have a 10mth old who has no just started walking, was born on the 7th and still doesn't have teeth. we have also gone through the super young (3-4mths) insane drooling, sooky, chewing on everything and still no teeth either.
So your not in it alone. Even with the fact that I cut teeth at the 5-6mth stage when I was a baby (including my brothers and sisters)
But my nephew who is 2 months older then my son had only just cut he's teeth at 10months so i am preparing for our sleepless nights very soon.
Also my neice cut later too. Don't worry we're waiting it out with you :-)

My little buddy(june 12) has 8 teeth(and he bites!) and so did my older son at this age but that isn't average. Kids vary as to when they get teeth, don't worry too much, just make sure to wipe her gums after drinking her milk at bedtime, teeth can get weaked even in the gums.

My daughter (2 yrs) was slow to cut her teeth but my son who will be 10 months on April 9th already has 7 teeth with another one on the way!

My sister's kids (all 4 of them) didn't get teeth until 12-14 months. No worries - they'll come soon enough!
Although, my own son (10 months old) already has 7.
Every kid is different - nothing to worry about.

My son was born 14 June 09 he has 6 teeth with 2 more coming in. He cut his first ones at about 2 1/2 months then got 4 in at one time about 2 months ago. However my niece will be a year next month and she only has 2 teeth so I wouldn't worry but you could always ask your dr.

My daughter, born June 14, got her two bottom teeth at the same time, about a month ago. She's got no signs of getting anymore anytime soon though.

My little one got her teeth right after she turned 9 months. Some of the kids in my family were almost a year. No worries....She will have them before you know it. I don't know if its true but they say the longer it takes the stronger the teeth. May be a old wives tale but it made me feel better. LOL

No and because I am breastfeeding, I want to say that I am somewhat happy about that. She will snap on me now and then and I know those sharp razors will hurt like heck!
I can't even feel anything under the gums.. so we'll see with that one. I know that they will come in time.

My daughter Sophie didn't have any teeth until 9 months, then she got two on the bottom one week and is cutting four now on the top. Sophie will be 10 months on the 17. If your daughter is eating solid food. I found that once Sophie started eating Baby Mum Mum rice rusks it helped.

My son was born on June 18th and he has 6 teeth. 4 on top and 2 on the bottom. He cut the bottom 2 at around 5 months and the top 4 at around 7 months. My aunt had a baby last April and he just got his first tooth last week so he almost made it a year with out any teeth, I think your daughter is fine.

My daughter was born June 29th and I was getting concerned because she wasn't getting any either but she popped one bottom one and both top ones at 8 1/2 months!!! Still hasn't gotten her other bottom tooth though lol.

My daughter was born June 29th 2009 and has 8 teeth, 6 on top and 2 on bottom. My niece was born Dec. 21st 2008 and only has 4 teeth, so it all depends on the child. If you are to worried about it I would talk to your daughter's doctor. I was really worried when it came to teething because my husband didn't get his teeth in at all his gums had to be cut when he was two years old.

Hi! I have a ten months old son who, just two days ago, got his first tooth! He also went through this insane drooling stage, and would cry when I put a spoon to his mouth! I always thought that he was getting teeth, but they never came! Until about two days ago and one started to poke through! I also had friends with younger children that had up to 8 teeth! My doctor told me it was normal and that the teeth would come when they were ready! Even if i takes ten months! Good luck!!!

My son has four, but my friends baby who is 10 months just got her first tooth in and another mom I know who's baby didn't get any till 11 months and the girl is now 12 months and working on her two top teeth.

i wouldnt worry about it too juch some babies dont cut ther first tooth till ther 1 or over my daughters startin showin wen she was 8 weeks old and now has 8 teeth at the front and about 6 more comin thru. and like u said all babies are different :)

My son only got his first tooth on 11 months, while my daugther is almost 10 months and already has 8 teeth. Don't stress it will come. It is better if it comes later, because then it is less time you have to spend trying to brush it to keep it clean.

my daughter was born on the 3rd... we have only JUST pierced the gum with our first tooth... and a week later it isnt all the way through!
a work mate of mine has two kids one who didnt teeth until 12 months and the other was 14 months.
her teeth with come when they come!

Jason got his 1st tooth at 3 months and now has 8 teeth. Maybe it is better for them to wait tell they are older lol.
