All of a sudden now Riley is 14 weeks old and her tongue after she drinks her formula has a white film from it on her tongue. I try to brush it but it's hard.

My daughter had it when she was a baby. Apparently its normal, just get it checked to rule out thrush. I used to just give her drinks of water, it never bothered her and it cleared its self in time. Think its just the formula xx

Ask your pediatrician. Roland had thrush at 4 weeks. Started with white build up on his tongue then went to his cheeks. Babies can get thrush a number of ways not just from their bottles. Once again ask the pediatrician if it is thrush you'll need an antibiotic.

If you or your baby has a dose of antibiotics you should ask your doctor if you can give your baby some probiotics, or have some yourself if you still breastfeed. This good bacteria helps stave off yeast in your body which causes yeast infections.

My 3 month old and I actually just got over thrush a couple of weeks ago. You should get your little one checked out asap because my girl started losing weight because of it, which can be very stressful!!! they will probably give her drops and 2 weeks later it will be gone = ) Even if it isn't thrush you should take your baby in just in case! Hope everything works out fine for you and your little one!! You'll be in my prayers cuz I know how hard it is!!

um yes it does sound like trush my oldest child and my youngest both had it...it sounds nasty but its like a yeast infection in their mouth. if you take her to the dr. and tell them, they'll give you medicince to give them and it will clear up!! nothing major, it happens alot when the bottles or pacifiers ur giving them arent sanitized, trust me as a mother of 3 i know how hard it is to constantly keep things SANITARY!!!!
