My daughter Natalia is 6 months old and due to a matter of work I will have to put her in daycare. It is advisable at this age?. Honestly I'm a little afraid that she wouldnt have the proper attention, yet I think it would be good for her to begin to socialize with other babies her age and I'm affraid I'm not ready to leave my baby with strangers..

I had to go back to work when my son was 2 months old. I have a family friend who watches my little boy. I had put him in daycare a few days a week for the socialization but he ended up getting hurt while he was there and doesn't go anymore. I was really nervous about sending him there in the 1st place. I guess your best option is to do what your gut says.

At the daycare my sister works at, there are 2 infants to every teacher. My husband works, and I go to school full time. So my mom's friend has been watching my daughter. Just look around at a few daycares or ask friends and family if they know anyone who is a stay at home mom.

I looked for a private daycare. Our babysitter has only five kids (they aren't all there on the same day), and my son gets lots of real attention. I prefer a home daycare because of the baby/teacher ratio, germs aren't as rampid, and its a homey feeling for my son. I would recommend looking for one, asking coworkers/friends for suggestions.
