My daughter loves to drink water from a cup or water bottle. I haven't tried it in her bottle but I don't think she would like that. I think if you try it from a sippy cup or let him drink from your cup he may enjoy it more. and he'll learn to drink from a cup at the same time. You could also try putting a few drops of juice(ones for babies) in it just to add a little flavor.

I still breast feed so i don't give 7 month old water yet.. but if you are going to you should use a sippy cup ... never in their bottle. Too much water is harmful for babies.

mine drinks it, but I "play" with it in a cup to teach him how to drink from one. It aids in digestion, but I don't know if it's necessary. Ask the pediatrician.

The only way I got my little one to first drink water was to give it to him out of my drink bottle (the ones with the pop tops). I put cooled boiled water in it and drank it in front of him which made him want it. He now has no problems drinking it out of a sippy cup.

I have a training sippy cup (helps go from bottle to cup). I started to offer it after his dinner(he's on Stage 2). He choked like crazy the first few times, but he's got the hang of it now. He loves it. Sometimes I give it to him between bites to help with the thicker foods.

My daugther is 6.5 months old and she doesn't take a bottle at all as she is fully breastfed. I tried the sippy cup to give water and formula milk but that has been a slow process had been tring over two weeks. I finally had a break through this week as she now likes drinking water from a normal cup. Getting her to drink formula milk is my next challenge - Don't give up and Good luck

My baby does not want to drink water. She will cry if I try to give her. But I keep giving her anyway with spoon. Now she take it good especially after I feed her solid.

My son drinks water in a sippy cup. We haven't tried in a bottle since in 5 more months he has to give up the bottle and drink solely from the cup.

We give her a tiny bit of apple juice mixed with water in her sippy as she snubbed plain water! Just made sure our dr was ok with giving her juice first.

I tired giving my little one water in a sippy cup and he won't take it. I have tried different bottles than what I give him his formula in and he does well with that.

My doc says never give anything to your child in a bottle other than the formula. give water in a sippy cup along with juices. it will help your baby to understand the difference between the both. i tried and my daughter takes water and juice in the sippy better then the bottle. try it it works.
