my daughter just had her 18 month checkup, and shes about 23 lbs and 32.5 inches tall. the doc when he was measuring her said ooh shes tall and then when he put it on her growth chart, he said no, just above average (about 60 percentile). shes thin, too, only at about 35 percentile for weight. but he said she looks healthy, other than her cold obviously! just wondering what size your june 09 babies are now? are they about the same on their growth charts or bigger or smaller in comparison? my daughter is about the same as shes always been.

My little one was 33.5 inches and 23 lbs at our check up last month... She was 97% for height and 35% for wieght. Her doctor says she is doing just fine, because it was a consitant curve. Our babies are just going to be tall :)

we finally made it to the 18mo appointment even though she was 19mo the day before. anyway, she was 26.3 lbs (52nd percentile) and 31 3/4" (25th percentile). She's tiny height wise, but so is my 5 yr old;)

Annika had her checkup a little late so at 19 months she is 28.3 pounds and a little over 34 inches. She is in the 95% and is going to be tall like her daddy :) Her doc said she is perfect :)

My daughter is 19 months now. She is 19.5 lbs and 32.5 in tall. She was in the 62% for height, but in the 1% for weight. This was the first time in over 6 months she was on the chart for her weight. She eats like a horse, but doesn't seem to gain anything.

My son is going to be tall like his Daddy! At 18 months, Josh was 36 inches tall and weighed 32.5 pounds! He does not look fat though because of his height.

My son is long and lean. He's 75th in height and 30th in weight. Doctor isn't worried...because he is healthy, looks healthy and I sneak in all the nutrients he needs for the day. He's entering a picky food stage and on top of the molars that just popped through-he wasn't in much of a mood to eat the last few weeks.

All will be well :)

My Noah is a June 09 baby, and he is 35lbs and very tall...can't remember the inches. My daughter who is 3 1/2 is 36 lbs, she too is also very tall, both kids are over 100% in height, and my son is 100% in weight also. My daughter is only 75% for weight.

my big guy is 33lbs 8oz and he is 36inches tall at his 18month checkup. He was 7lbs 5oz at birth (2 weeks late even and he was just tiny) and 20inches so he has grown a ton since birth! 16inches and 26lbs 3oz since birth!

Our son Seth is a huge guy but he's always been. He was 8 lbs 10oz and 19in when he was born. He's 19 months old and is 37lbs and 3ft 1in tall. The doctor said 'technically' for his age he is over weight, but for his height he is right on schedule. He said to only worry abour rapid weight loss or gain. So I think as long as your daughter is staying in the same ranges, everything should be cool.

As long as she's growing exponentially, is healthy and running around like a toddler (driving you crazy ;-0), i wouldnt worry. Also, dont compare too much same age toddlers since genes play an important factor as well as birth weight etc. My 19 month old at her 18 month check up weighed 29.8 lbs and 34.5 inches tall. She was in the 90th and 97th percentile respectively. But she was born 9.1 lbs and 21.5 inches. Due to a cold and me returning to wk (BF) at 6 months she went from 97th percentile to 75 and at 9 month she went increased back to 90th. This week she's got a cold and has refused to eat (just on liquids) so she's lost weight. But kids rebound quickly and she'll regain the weight. You said your daughter has a cold (i hope she's better now) so she might have lost some weight b4 her physical and she actually weighed more. if she's eating healthy and is reaching her milstones, i wouldnt worry.wt/ht % has no real significance on future outcomes. Yr daughter's a superstar!

My daughter was born 9lbs 6oz and has done nothing but grow! She is now just over 19 months old and at her 18-month appointment with the doctore, she measured over 34 inches tall and she's almost 34 pounds. She is off the charts for weight and height but I keep getting reassured that she will "even out" as she gets older. My daughter is happy, healthy and very active. She is talking a mile and minute and loves to play with her older brother. I think as long as your daughter is enjoying life, then you can rest easy! :)

My twins are 22 lbs (daughter) and my son is 25lbs at 18 months. I don't remember off the top of my head what their heights were, but my daugther is in the 30th percentile for weight, similar to your daughter. My doctor wasn't concerned about her actual weight, but he was slightly concerned that she had only put on one pound since her 15 month appointment. She's always been small, but doesn't look like she's unhealthy, we just call her our little peanut. My son is 50% for height and weight, so very average in those terms. When I asked, I was always told it's not their actual weight that should be under consideration, it's more the weight gain that should be the measure, so if she's the same as she's always been, I think that is a good thing?
