how much sleep should an 11 week old have?

Maia sleeps all day. She is hardly up for 10-15 minutes before crying out of exhaustion. Then between 8:30 pm until 11pm she is pretty grumpy and unsettled. What's with that?

My son is now 3 months old but at 11 weeks he was sleeping through the night (7pm to 7am) but not sleeping much during the day. He would have one big sleep 1-2 hrs & 2 cat naps (1/2hr) sleeps during the day, he has always been alert & happy so the lack of sleep during the day doesn't seem to bother him.

Does she have her nights and days mixed up? How does she sleep at night?

She *should* be getting a total of 15 hrs of sleep/day both naps and night sleep with, hopefully, the bulk of that as night sleep.She *should* be able to endure 2-3 hrs of awake time in between naps during the day....*should* but there are always exceptions to the shoulds :)

My bub is 11weeks old, she usually sleeps 2 hours at a time, and then up for 1.5hrs, then she goes to bed around 7pm, sleeps till 3am ish, feeds, back to sleep until around 6am ish.

But we are unsettled and and awake between 3pm-7pm
