How well is your baby sleeping?

Miss Rosabel is our Lucky 7! She's been the best sleeper, the most well behaved...she's an angel! She wakes at about 9am and takes maybe 3 naps throughout the day. Bedtime, where she'll sleep through the night, is around 10pm with very little waking. I hate to sound braggy, but she's awesome that way. Only thing is that I can't use her as excuse for not getting housework done! lol!

Can I just recommend the best book ever?!? healthy sleep habits, healthy child. It's a Godsend! My son was up til 10-11pm every night and i would have to rock him to get him to sleep, which took quite a while each night. Since reading the book and following the pediatricians tips...he nows goes to bed at 8:30 (i just lay him in his crib and he falls asleep easily) and gets up at 8:30 AM and he takes 2 good naps. My son is still breastfed so does have to get up to eat around 3 am and 6 am, but falls right back asleep, which the book also says that after 9 months they no longer need to eat in the night. So I plan to nurse him until 9 months during the night, and then I'll wean that too. Prior to this book tho he would be up within an hour of falling asleep crying also, and now sleeps a solid 6-7 hours before getting up the first time

My son is 8 months now and he has been sleeping like 13 hours straight since he was 3 months old! He used to wake up at round 6am for a bottle but then I just stopped giving it to him and soon he didn't even wake up for it. My son has been so easy in every possible way I can't help myself thinking how I'm going to be screwed with our next baby because I'm sure I'm not that lucky the next one going to be this easy aswell!

7:30pm is a bottle and bed time.
We let him cry it out and now he goes right to sleep within 30 seconds.
He still gets up at 3 or 4am though for another bottle.
I tried spoon feeding him cereal with the 7:30pm bottle or making the bottle bigger and even when he eats it, he still wakes up.
A friend said to let him cry it out at 4am too. I am not sure. I tried a few times and after an hour I gave up. Plus I have a 2 year old with a room next to his, so I don't want 2 kids up at 4am! If I give-in and feed him at 4am he goes back to bed until 7am.
I am trying not to worry too much - his sister was the same way and now she sleeps 12 hours at night. This too shall pass. My main focus needs to be getting myself to bed earlier so when he does wake up I am not too tired! Good luck!

My 7 1/2 month old son is a pretty good sleeper, he started sleeping through the night at 10 weeks - 7pm - 7am (no night feeds). He has about 2-3 naps during the day about an hour to 1 1/2 each time. He has always slept in his cot from day one and on the odd occasion he will wake during the night to practice crawling etc.. but he'll go straight back to sleep.

My son use to wake up every 2hrs wen he was a newborn but from the 8 weeks he slept from 9:30-8am. Now he's 7 months he'll sleep from 10:30-1:00pm. He sleeps longer then i do and i get worried and have to check on him to make sure he's ok.

my daughter scarlett is 7 months old and from 3 weeks of age she has slept all night from bout 9pm to 10:30am sumtimes 11:30am and 2 sleeps in the daytime, when i work i have to wake her up and she then has 3 sleeps in the daytime. She went through a stage for like 3 weeks where she woke up at bout 5am cum into our bed ande slept but that was due to separation anxiety from going back to work. I love my daughter she an angel :)

Gee, must be nice to have a good sleeper! Nataliya goes to bed around 11, wakes up at 1230, 2, 5, 7, and then is up for the day at around 9. She nurses and is up for about 20 minutes each time. Luckily I am a stay at home mom and can take naps throughout the day if needed, but it would be nice if we could get it down to only waking up twice!

My daughter has slept all night just a few times. Most of the time she goes down around 11pm, wakes up around 2am and is up for up to 3 hours, then either sleeps until 10am when it's time to get up or possibly wakes up once or twice before 10am too. Very tiring....

IM GOING TO BE SO HONEST, MY SON SLEEPS IN HIS CRIB ALMOST NEVER BUT HE GOES TO BED AT 7AM, HE IS AN OWL. I ACTUALLY READ AN ARTICLE IN EITHER PARENTING OR BABYTALK MAGAZINE ABOUT HIGH NEED BABIES AND FELT REASSURED WHEN I READ IT. I LEARNED THAT SYNCERE JUST NEEDS ME AND HIS DAD WHEN ITS BED TIME AND THAT'S OK.
