Wyatt is 14 months old and won't ever sit still, he won't let me hold him, he doesn't sit to listen to stories, forget going to story groups or play time because he won't sit still. Is that normal?

Maggie is the same way. I think it's normal for our kids but not typical for their age. My little brother plays high school football and I take Maggie to all the games. All the other kids her age are sitting on their parents laps eating snacks being still the whole game. Maggies running around clapping with the cheerleaders, yelling at her uncle, and saying hi to everyone in the crowd. She stands on the track with the cheerleaders trying to entertain everyone. She is very hyper and always on the go. People look at me like "do you ever discipline her? Why is your kid so wild?" but whatever I just tell myself they have boring kids :)

My 15 month old daughter is the same, and always has been. She started walking at 8 months! Very active and very strong willed. She never sits! EVER!:)

once my son is up for the day,he wont sit down at all. he runs and runs and runs around the house. then he's exhausted by 6pm and sleeps til 7am, lol. i have to put him in his playpen for an hour during the afternoon or he's wanting to go to bed at 3 and get up at 3am. he's so active.

my daughter is also the same. Never a dull moment in my household. I think it's very normal and is just a case of them being very active!

my son is exactly the same, he is too busy to stop for anything, he only stays focused for like 30 seconds then he is on to something else, he never lets me hold him, sitting to eat in a high chair is a nightmare, sitting to do anything is impossible, but he is not the only one a few of the kids in dycare are just like him, so I figure thats just how he is.
