Injuries yet?

I know how you feel, for about a month I felt like the worst mom in the world with all the bruises and blood from my son's accidents. He's getting a little better and there are fewer accidents. He definately has no fear.

My daughter is trying to walk..She walks around the living room table along the couch and lean on walls...She likes to Let go at least 20 times a day. I call it "practice falling". It is crazy. She knows how to land just right to not hurt herself. There are those few times that it didn't work out in her favor..but she crys and then just gets back up and does what she was doing before the fall. There has never been any serious falls. But I know they are bound to happen.

only had one incident so far (touch wood). he stood up in the bath and slipped bumping his cheek on the edge. small bump and bruise but its almost gone after 2 days. my child is very adventurous he climbs on the lounge all by himself and opens and closes the doors all the time. i am waiting for more injuries, he has just started taking steps although he has been standing since 7 months.

my son has injured himself many times also tryin 2 pull up on the table and he slipped n hit his chin on the table, or 4rm crawlin. but the worst i would would say is when we was in a roll over accident and he was ejected 4rm his carseat and the truck and luckly only got a hairline fracture on his left leg

i swear my son has a head of steal. he bangs it all the time... trips on his pants and face plants, etc. almost never cries.
Yesterday, I found fresh blood on the playroom wall, but didn't hear him cry once and on inspection of him couldn't find where it came from or how it started.
tough little guy.

I have a 5 year old and a 10 month old, last month my daughter left the gate open and my son fell down the first 4 stairs onto the landing! He was just fine but I nearly had a heart attack and took him to the ER anyway where I was again told that he was just fine lol ... next day we got a new gate that she can not open!
other then that we have had a few little bruises from pulling up on things and falling over but thankfully nothing involving blood or real injury!!

Oh I hear ya! My daughter is the same way! Although we havent actually seen blood she has already had her first black eye (accident standing up at the coffee table) and has had many the bump to the head. I swear that child is automatically attracted to anything she can clunk her head on! They're tough though and they'll get through it!

My daughter has only had a couple of small accidents where she drew blood, but she gets bruises everywhere, I actually had to bring her to the doctor this week and was worried they were going to think she's abused because she's all bruised up haha. They're always moving, and it seems that moms can rarely be fast enough to save them from the falls.

my son is almost 10 months and has never (knock on wood) has had a "bloody accident" he has hit his head a few times on the tile floor. mostly from the dogs knocking him over. He has had only 2 bruises so far. i know it will come in time though

Having EXACTLY the same issue! I have lost count of how many times he fell today, but he hurt his mouth one time, his top gum bled a little. And i am not being neglectful, i do follow him and try and keep him on the floor safe but he doesnt want to sit with me, he wants to stand and play with stuff on the coffee table. It's exhausting and nerve-wracking and i am tired of it! But its developmental and it will pass... So just remember they do it to 'learn' :-S

My son is the exact same. He is terrible. No fear at all. I swear the daycare teachers think I swing him around by his feet or something...
