My baby is so little and she is 6 months old .

My little girl is 6 months old and she only weighs 13lbs and she looks really tiny and I have told her doc that I am concerned but he says not to be ... she is just so bony looking and I just don't know what to do . She eat baby food and she does everything the docs says to . But i need some help.Thanks

My little girl is also very tiny...she was only 4 lbs at birth and weighed 11.5 lbs at her 4 month checkup. I am guessing she is somewhere between 12.5-13 lbs. now. Even though she is only in the 10th percentile for size, her pediatrician said to not be alarmed because she is developing just fine. My Goddaughter was the same way when she was a baby...she was born average (around 6-7 lbs.) but stayed tiny. However, she is a very average 4 year old and is doing great! I wouldn't be too worried especially since your pediatrician isn't.

I feel u. My baby is 5.5 months n very petite. Have u tried a higher calorie formula. My daughter is on it. It's helped some. It's called neosure I think. Good luck. If your dr. is ok with it, then she's probably just a petite baby.
